Love this so much. Going merely by the book, Rhaenys comes across as a badass, fierce woman…but we don’t get much, or any really, of her interior feelings. The show (and Eve Best) has shown a more human Rhaenys - strong still, but also someone who has lost a lot in her life, and KNOWS she will lose even more in this game of thrones she can’t really escape. Her grandparents, her parents, her own children…and her husband estranged because she TRIED to break from the game. “I must stand alone.”
