Thanks to you Elle my bird Sunny has changed! I changed his diet and got rid of the happy hut in his cage. I got him more toys are perches. He is acting himself again and he is learning some tricks! Thank you so much Elle!!
recently,i upgraded my birds cage and elle has helped me so much to have a good environment for them 1.No sand perches because,they get puffy feet and if you want you can cover it with baseball tape 2.No plastic food or water dishes can cause bacteria use metal 3.No fluffy toys (loose string) can get stuck in there throat thanks elle!
U can have one sand perch in ur cage AS long as u have plenty of other natural wood perches so that if they want to they can sit on there,trim their nails and when they get sick of it they can go to another branch

On Amazon, lets say an avarge set of perches would be 16 dollars, some with shipping that adds up lets say extra 8 dollars. Avarge set of toys (all from the kit) would be 20 dollars, extra 15 shipping. Maznanita perches are ussaly around 15, with additional 10 shipping. Rope perches( a set of 3) would be around 15, with 15 shipping. A platform perch would be 7 dollars, 7 shipping. Food bowls would quickly adds up to 123 dollars. Some extra items come in the pack(bridge, seaweed thing, etc.) Adds to 200 dollars all with shipping. I would buy one Elle, but I dont have a parrot, just a pigeon. Yes of course, I think this kit is great it comes with a ton of things your would need for your bird(s). Although not everything on Amazon has a shipping fee. I sometimes buy my birds things on Amazon. But, for my budgies I go to my backyard and get some natural perches for my budgies. Sometimes people can't afford getting perches that are natural from pet stores so I think that going to look for natural perches yourself is a good option. Of course I am not against your comment. 😊
I Just rescued a bonded pair of budgies they are in a very very small filthy cage two very small plastic perches no toys one mirror..... they used to be tame but after 5 YEARS with this woman they were terrified but my husband is building a large cage and I have bought toys healthier food and have made multiple natural wood perches which they love!! Added lots of toys and after 3 very long days working with them Samson the male has put one foot on my finger and I am in tears of joy!!! My husband is jealous! Lol had to share love your channel by the way!!!

That's a really great cage kit! I'm still undecided about bringing a bird into my life, but if I do eventually commit myself, I will definitely be wanting one of those kits for it. I'll probably need to have it imported here though.
I have a fairly large cage for my lovebird, with no dowels and 8 natural wood perches and 1 flat shelf perch. I rearrange everything regularly. He still sleeps clinging to the bars at a top corner of the cage 🤣 birds are wacky
@@cacacaca-qh3dj maybe. I don't think he's actually scared of anything, though, its more that that's his chosen spot, and also the corner closest to me when I'm also asleep. Apparently, according to my partner,, if I take a nap, he screams the entire time unless I put him in his cage and bring him in the bedroom, and then he'll relax and watch me sleep
Elle, I recommend either using substrate and removing the grate, or placing newspaper on top of the grate! This makes it easier to clean, and allows them to utilise the bottom of the cage easily without it being uncomfortable for their feet! Substrate allows them to forage!
@@ElleAndTheBirds Oh alright, BirdNerdSophie uses substrate and does spot cleans everyday, her birds love foraging at the bottom of the cage! I just put newspaper on top of the grate and change it every day

Have you ever held a macaw? Macaws in the wild wouldn’t have many places to perch if they couldn’t perch on smaller branches. The thickness of those perches looks the exact same as the ones in my macaw’s cage. I could tell when Elle was holding them. All of my parrots go to the thinner perches rather than the thicker ones.

Thank you so much for creating this kit. The city I live in doesn't have proper stores, I have to drive at least 15-30 minutes to get to the nearest bird store. Your kit was a life saver and my cockatiel is super happy. She is obsessed with her seagrass mat and loves napping on the natural wood bridge/ladder. As I write this she is on the bridge playing with the honeycomb/crinkle paper finger trap toy. Echo is so much happier and I am too❤️

Plastics utensils can be used as long as you wash it very frequently, but steel is the ultimate best option

I don’t like letting them at the bottom because they can get to their poop and old food, and I don’t want them to get sick that way

@@trish6637 and it's hard to find good bird shops in India where they sell toys like where I go to it just sells like swings, mirror toys,and a few good wood toys the toys I got on my birthday I had to order from Amazon and Flipkart
@@lohitborah465 yeah good petshops , especially for bird toys , are hard to find . so either im gonna go to the few shops near me and see if i find anything or i will order it online ..cz thats the next best option
@@lohitborah465 I actually stay in india and amazon has some really good bird toys for good prices, below 500 rupees with amazing quality. plus there are good bird feeds and pellets that you could order as well. would you like me to send any suggestions?

Thank you so much for creating this kit. The city I live in doesn't have proper stores, I have to drive at least 15-30 minutes to get to the nearest bird store. Your kit was a life saver and my cockatiel is super happy. She is obsessed with her seagrass mat and loves napping on the natural wood bridge/ladder. As I write this she is on the bridge playing with the honeycomb/crinkle paper finger trap toy. Echo is so much happier and I am too❤️
Finally some toys for my bird they been lived without a toys 1 months I been searching for toy but the all are scam so I buyed all of your toys thanks so much I told my bird say thank you and she said thanks you so much 😂 love you vid it's make my day ♡♡

This kit is incredible. Elle your amazing! My birds love everything in this kit and i am so sorry I got so sick i didn't send photos. The four of my parakeets chewed them all up before I could snap photos.
OMG elle, Today my cockatiels new flight cage arrived!! (its 30x18x36) and this helped me so much! now i know how to set up a flight cage!
Edit: today we just moved our cockatiel into his new cage! im so excited, this video really helped me!
