- This is a quick demonstration of how to nurse in a soft structured carrier. The carrier used in this video is a Happy Baby Revolution which was sent for me to test out.

I find it amazing that there's clothing out there that makes it way easier for breastfeeding.
Over Easter we were visiting family, and I fed baby. Husbands grandmother & her sister said how when they had kids they didn’t have nursing clothes and had to drape themselves with nappies (flat cloth ones) etc to be able to feed. Much easier now!

That's how I did it with my first, it's really nice to see that you can't really see anything. Baby wearing and breast feeding were my two favorite things 🥰
Thanks for helping to normalize breastfeeding in all circumstances and showing that although there are learned skills involved, it is easy once you get some tips!
I have to say, this was soooo helpful. I exclusively pumped with my first but I have been nursing my second. Nursing in the carrier has saved my back and so much time when we are out. I don’t have to stop and find a bench or hold the baby on my own. Thank you!

I wish i was able to do this but when you have really really big chest you just have to do the football and cris cross apple sause sitting position for babies feeding.
It can definitely take practice and help when baby is older, but I know many with larger chests who regularly nurse in their carrier. I have a close friend who's a K cup and still able to- it just took a bit of practice! But, every body is unique and those with very large chests may find they struggle or just don't find it comfortable! There is an account on Instagram called Plus Size Babywearing and she has great tips for nursing with a larger chest!

This is so helpful! I'm about to have my 4th baby and nursed all my kids but they never liked carriers. I've heard great things about the Tula so may try that. Which brand and model is your fav for newborn?
Congrats on your fourth, that's so exciting!! Tula can be a really great option- I have the explore and have used a free to grow. Many find that they can take a little time to break in, but once you have, it's so great! This Happy Baby Revolution is one of my most used soft structured carriers. But, I also really love the Boba X and the Olives and Applesauce Olympia 2.0. both are so easily adjustable from newborn- older toddler.

I just wish I could make it comfortable enough.
Mine would get so big when I was nursing my babies that they would kind of suffocate when trying to nurse with them in a carrier.
In that case, you might loosen one shoulder strap more than another and twist baby's bottom to the side so that s/he is kind of side lying. Can't explain exactly why, but that worked better for me sometimes!

@@lydiaswanson3240 I've loved everything that I have from them! I like how lightweight the cloud hoodie is, but I definitely reach for some of the heavier ones in the winter overall. But, I don't think you can go wrong!
Is it normal to just feel like the baby is so LOW while you carry like this? I find it kind of awkward for that reason!

definitely useful video for moms, nothing to say, but I can ask why this kid is always barefoot even when the clothing suggests it's not hot? if you're dressed and I guess you're wearing a pair of shoes, why not the baby?

2. Her child hates socks and shoes and sometimes you have to pick and choose your battles.

It's not really that cold this day- I almost always wear long sleeves as I have a sun sensitivity (long sleeves or covered in sunscreen)- if you take a look at any of my videos where it's obviously cold- baby has socks or booties 🥰
But yes- he wasn't a fan of socks at this time, so if it wasn't cold, I didn't try to force it.
