It’s only to show the small differences. They have the same musical ability, but they just express it differently. Laurent is the physical poet, and Larry is the technical beat slayer. Les Twins Playlists LOVED this! I think it perfectly captures the brilliant dance style and musicality of both Larry and Laurent. I also appreciate how you prefaced your post by stating that the video is not meant to hype one of the brothers over the other. That too has been my personal practice. Again, I hate when people do that. They are individuals regardless of their twindom. They are both great, skilled dancers and though they each can excel on any given day, all that proves is that they are human. We all have our days when we looked better, felt better, performed better than on other days. These brothers are absolutely no different. When I feel from my observing a particular video that one performed better or less better than a past performance I never pin one brother against the other. They deserve to be their individual selves. I simply, like many others of their fans, enjoy the beautiful ride. It's ALL good.

Of course Laurent would win in a battle of musicality...just like Larry would win in a battle of footwork, they're both the best dancers its just that one embrace one aspect more than the other 💯
They are twin yes but i like the fact that they're unique in their dancing/musicality..that's one of the reasons i love about them..they compliment each other..together they are mind blowing...

they're musicality is just beyond crazy, their styles are so different but mix so well, it just leaves you in a state of unbelief, (most of the time I'm replaying it, saying "How did they hit that on point, that fast). they are so passionate for what they do, their facial expressions show it all.

And you are right, that full video of Tokyo from July 2015 is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. Now i understand why they mention themselves as ying and yang.... Larry is yin and laurent is yang. This is because larry kills the beat and makes it seem aggresive whereas Laurent hugs it and makes it seem angelic
I get what you are saying, but from a Chinese medicine perspective, it would actually be reverse - Larry, Yang, Laurent, Yin.....Yang = Masculine, energetic, outward, Yin = poetic, feminine, inward, angelic.

Hey Les Twins Playlists, I am almost 5 years delayed in this post - but just ran across it. However, it is beautiful footage. Really, you did a phenomenal job with capturing the musicality of these remarkably talented, and stunningly gorgeous young men [Les Twins]. They are such gifted artists - both display their art with smoothness, cleanliness, and precision. Yes, they do express their musicality differently - which makes their performances as two parts that comprises a WHOLE. How positively amazing!!!!!! Again, wonderful video - thanks, loads.

I'm still a new fan ( only 3 1/2 months now) I'm so sad I didn't know about them before. They are two truly amazingly talented humans! They dance like I've never seen before and maybe never will again. I can't think of any amazing dancers that came before them that they have not surpassed. Yes including "MJ" he is mediocre compared to them.
I know they do the workshops but you can't teach what they do, you're born with that ( as Laurent said) !! For those that go, It is just an honor to have the experience to dance with the GREATS and a life long memory they will have to share. Everybody that knows about them whether they realize it or not has had their lives enriched just by witnessing what they do. I liken Laurent's dancing to the great painters of the Sistine Chapel, works of art so amazing and never seen before! Extreme some may feel but not to me at all! Laurent is not Hip Hop to me he is simply a DANCER (we need a new word for him) in every sense of the word!!! he may prefer HIp Hop culture and music but he is not limited ( not that at all really, i know he disagrees) to that. Larry is new HIP HOP But still on a level we will never see again in this lifetime as well!!!
Normally I'm fangirling out on their looks but that is just an extra added plus these guys are simply UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
One more thing It is mind blowing how many people do not know about them!!!!! Why are they not all over the place more!!!!!!!
I am even newer than you. Found out about Les Twins when they freestyled to Kwabs (Last Stand) a couple of years ago. I guess because I was relatively new to the Internet (Facebook). I totally agree, they are AWESOME. Every time they dance, it just show the artistry of their performance. Yes, they are ARTISTS. Thanks for this incredible video, it takes precision, artistic genius, and many more "adjectives" to truly describe the footage you have captured and put together to display such a wonderful dance performance by these brothers.

It’s ok to have your favorites or you preference but don’t put them against each other it’s wrong .They have to very different styles yet when together they are so in sync ... they truly are the definition of ying and yang . OMG! They are just soo unbelievable!!!! Why is there no documentary on them or is there? Or is there one and I just don't know about it, If so somebody please let a sista know!! There is so much I want to know about them professionally!! Also why is it that they are like a drug they are addicting. It is not just the dance it is just them who they are as well, they are so different!! I don't think it is just a French thing either because French people are intrigued by them the same as the rest of the world. It is simply their own thing. Their personalities are as unique as their dance styles.

This is very good. Next time go into how Lau has a lot of good hip hop foundation. You'll see him locking and popping while Larry rarely leaves his own style.
You obviously have not seen clips of Larry in the early years:- Larry's style of dancing includes splits, death drop; and just as much variation of dancing equal to Laurent.
He's just homed-in on his hip hop dance styling. Remember also, that as a technical dancer in style, Larry's mastered the hiphop style of dancing to the core. This is why he's won more battles, compared to his brother, Laurent. They are both good, but Larry's dancing is on another level. I salute them both!
Moon Child1111, I'm certainly not denying lau's capabilities as a dancer - he is good too, no doubt about that. But, with regards to mastering the technique of new hip hop style of dancing, I prefer Larry's style - and I admire his mastering of this technique - it's clean, contained and just beautiful to watch, thank you
