    BRO!!! I was just watching Nissan Mechanic the other night trying to figure out how to do my conversion. I saw how much trouble he had with the rears and was like fuck maybe i'll just take it to a shop. But you guys made it look so much simpler. I'll be giving it a try this weekend. I got the ISR hubs and they seem to install just like the Megan Racing ones.

    Great DIY Guys. Love the tag team effort you guys have on these installs.

    This series makes me want to buy an S13 so badly!

    Damn, I hate working on or around the hubs / brakes. My dad broke a lug on his Civic and I fixed it once for the front. Well he broke another lug in the back now, it's snapped behind so have to remove the entire hub. So much work, this kinda looks a bit similar but.. hmm. Nice work Anthony. I like the 240 update vids, but can't wait to see it driving (someday??) :D

    Nice! For hardware, did you use a S14 5-lug rotor with S13 pads on S13 calipers?

  • @1nvd
    @1nvd Před 4 lety

    Wow it’s a lot more simple than I thought.

    Please how to convert from 4 hub and rear to a 1980 toyota corolla

  • @seuksavanhvongsipraseuth5153

    Seem easy to do! What rotor do you put after that? And can you reuse your stock caliper?

  • @Chase_Schrader
    @Chase_Schrader Před 7 lety +3

    What is the point of doing the conversion? Is it for just a larger selection of wheels? That went really smooth, nice work!!

    • @antdo
      @antdo  Před 7 lety +2

      Chase Schrader Thanks! And yes the only real reason to do this conversion is for the wheel choices and sizes I will need.

      @antdo  Před 7 lety +1

      Chase Schrader Lol not a secret. But I'm working with a company right now, So I don't want to say what they are until I for sure I am able to lock it down.

    What size are the 5 lug hubs because I put the 5×114.3 on my s13 and this causing my caliper to push up against the rotor causing my wheel not to rotate freely. Someone please help me!

      Siege as a movie, I liked it. I had watched the original Ghost that night and saw it the following morning. My main problem was "her name and why is she white?!?"
      i did have some problems with some.other area's of the film, But that's to be expected. so overall I enjoyed it

    Lol I’m stuck on the rears and you guys just skipped over most of it. Damn seized bolts

    • @billymadison1616
      @billymadison1616 Před 5 lety +3

      Not sure what you think they skipped. But this video helped me out tremendously. Especially for it not actually being a DIY video.

    • @jonathanpham7397
      @jonathanpham7397 Před 5 lety

      They said you can do it without removing axle and there are four bolts all at different angles you gotta get at becuz he didn’t disconnect any arms. The top two are relatively easy. The bottom two that was skipped over is what I was talking about and where I’m stuck at. The rubber axle part is getting in the way of the socket as well. At this point I think I’m gonna remove the entire knuckle and replace the LCA ball joints and press in energy suspension bushings I have for LCA. 170k on chassis and I’m sure it’s all original stuff. And I’m on jack stands so it’s hard to get leverage on these damn stubborn bolts. Maybe I’ll try candle method next on bolts. Pb blaster didn’t do much

    • @antdo

      Just the fronts. CTSV Brake swap hasn't released thier rear kit bracket yet.

    Unless you like premature bearing wear, the front axle nut should be torqued to 132 ft-lb, the rear axle nut to 200. The hub mounting bolts should be torqued to 65 ft lb.
    The front brake caliper bolts should be torqued to 62ft-lb, the rear brake caliper bolts to 45.
    All this should be done with that torque wrench, not an impact gun.
