      Bald doesn’t suit everyone. I felt really angry bald. I wear fibres now but they clog up the bath and I’m sick of them so I can’t wait to get a system. So many Hollywood actors wearing systems and you wouldn’t know it...Brad Pitt , Leornado Dicaprio and Ben Affleck I hear. Do what makes you happy.

We guys tend to fixate on hair being the be all, end all, of physical traits that dominate attraction… but a confident man who has chosen the harder road less travelled (and it doesn’t necessarily have to be hair loss but lets apply it in this example), always ALWAYS pulls the higher quality mate. Depends how old the woman saying that is. If she's 21 and says that she doesnt want to date a bald guy, then I can kind of understand that. We can be very superficial when we're young. Looks are our priority. Being bald, overweight/too skinny, flat chested, having a big nose, etc etc... whatever. Too many to list here. All those things can be seen as flaws when we are young. As we age, that stuff becomes less important. Our priorities change. Our tastes change. We grow out of being arrogant superficial little shits lol. Beauty fades very quickly. Refusing to date someone for being bald is really no worse than refusing to date someone for being flat chested or having a big nose. We're all guilty of that behavior. Even the bald guys...

    I got my first hairpiece a few months ago. I absolutely love it. With friends/ppl I know I just makes a joke of it - I say yeh, I prayed to the lord for my hair to re-grow and he heeded my call - praise the lord! Everyone I know say it looks great, totally natural and makes me look about 5 yrs younger. With other ppl who haven't met me before at first I felt a bit self -conscious and was thinking 'can they tell'? But I am so confident in how natural it looks that I honestly don't think anyone can tell (just like the guy in the video - the girl had no idea). And if they do suspect - so what?! They aren't gonna say anything anyway.
    And the bottom line is this - at first you feel a bit self conscious when you go out, but very quickly I honestly forgot it was there. It is so light (poly base) I forget I am even wearing it. The self-consciousness very quickly fades and disappears. The biggest challenge was going into work wearing it - there was a bit of banter, and funny remarks but most ppl quickly complemented it and respected me for having the 'front' to wear it for work. On day 2 at work no-one even mentioned it - you have to remember that you are not that important to others - they have their own issues/problems and really couldn't care less if you are wearing a hairpiece or not! After a week I promise anyone who wears it you will forget all about it, as it feels and looks so natural you don't even know you are wearing it. And finally I had my first date in ages last week - 2 hrs face to face over a restaurant table during daylight hours and 100% she never suspected anything I know it (again, like the girl in the video). She never looked at my hair once as if she thought it was a bit odd. We have been in regular touch since, and she has never mentioned my hair in her texts/calls. And did I feel more confident in going on the date with hair for the first time in years compared to dating as my natural self as a bald guy? I would have to say yes, 100% more confident and happy with how I looked.

      I live in the UK and I had the hairpiece fitted at a salon called Simone Thomas in a town called Bournemouth. It cost £385 with styling/cutting. The actually hairpiece was £350. But you can buy it much cheaper online, but as it was my first hairpiece I let the salon buy it for me. Next time I'll probably purchase it myself and just go to the salon for styling/cutting. It does feel a bit hot when the weather is very sunny. But you get used to that. It definitely does not feel heavy at all. It is so light I forget I am wearing it! I am 48 yrs old :) @Abubakr #Apostate

    • @Iceni007
      @Iceni007 Před 5 lety +3

      No problem - happy to help. You can exercise but definitely not swim. The chlorine (in a pool) would damage the hairpiece fabric and sea saltwater would probably not do it much good either. If you wear a waterproof swimming cap it would be ok.
      It's very secure even in the windiest conditions and will never blow off providing you tape it on properly!
      If a ladyfriend was to run her fingers through it well ...I think she would notice especially if she got 'vigorous'! And if she started tugging and pulling then your secret would be out I'm afraid! 😂😁
      The stylist said it would last about 3 months, but I've had it over 4 months now and it's still fine. But I don't wear it everyday - probably 3-4 days per week. I hope it will last at least 6 months before I buy a replacement. You can change the style yes - brush forward, side partings etc - but brushing back is not possible with my hairpiece. It would reveal the tape at the front and the fabric wouldn't stay in place if brushed back. Hope that helps!
      @@Abubakr #Apostate

    • @Iceni007
      @Iceni007 Před 5 lety

      I should have added - don't worry about the hairpiece getting wet in the rain - that is fine. Obviously plain, untreated water will not damage it and you have to wash it in water with a special fabric shampoo fairly often (never use ordinary shampoo for real hair!) - at least once a week really if you wear it 3-4 day per week - otherwise is starts to smell! @@Abubakr #Apostate

Besides, being bald looks great at you, but: You have got a nice beard, without, I´m not sure about it. I am using a hairsystem, I do not like at all surgical operations, finally I look like someone of the Adams family. I don´t like to fix it with glue for weeks or month, I like to take it away going to bed every evening. When I met my boy friend I mentioned to have it, he couln´d believe, so I schwowed him. I don’t get why there is such a mystery to this at all. A picture is worth a thousand words. I’ve yet to see any hair system that doesn’t scream fake hair. Unless the person you want to tell is blind, it shouldn’t require disclosure unless you feel better about saying something because hair systems are detectable at 30 feet away.

      @@famfam5922 Personally, I’ve never been able to spot someone wearing new hair systems. No one also has ever been able to tell when I wore one either. It’s possible that they lied to me but I don’t know why everyone would lie to me when I make it abundantly clear that it not something I’m hiding or ashamed of. Which is why I posed the question. It’s also possible that some people are better at spotting it I guess. As a magician, the idea of not bringing attention to the “trick” and the “trick” will not be noticed has been very true.

I remember her rubbing my buzzed head and saying "ew" as we were laying in bed after sex later that night. I now wear a system, not because I am insecure about balding, and believe me I was, but because I honestly like the way I look with hair. Good luck fellas, and remember nothing is more attractive to a woman than confidence!!

    The problem with hair Pieces is they can NEVER replace what real hair functions as.
    Our Hair is an extension of the nervous system and Acts as Natural Antennas that provide a pathway for information to reach the brain. One reason why people feel bad when they go through hair loss is not simply isolated to loss of Looks, but a loss of their antennas and sensitivity. That’s why Bald Men should Definitely grow a big beard and rock that Viking look. Not only does it look good and provide balance, but it is also very healthy for you to have that extra hair. Baldcafe I agree with you mostly, BUT shaving ones head is also a way to not “hide” ones hair loss but it is a way to disguise it if you will. Same with a system; in both cases you are just trying to look better while being bald. Yes if you are terrified of being caught then you are not free but if you can’t shave your head for a week you will become insecure so in a way you’re also not free. I do think both you and the man in the video are as free as it gets with hair loss, either way you’re just trying to look like your best self. 100^ a guy and many do, can rock a system with close to absolute confidence.

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  Před 4 lety +2

      I think the difference with going with the shaved head is its pretty much the final form. Balding then Bald. You just cut to the chase and then rock the best look possible. Its all out there on the table. Its only the same if you shave it and then try to tell people you "shave it because you like the look" and not because you are losing your hair.

    • @sammmuelspaul1946
      @sammmuelspaul1946 Před 4 lety +1

      Baldcafe I definitely get what you’re saying and mostly agree. The problem with the just shave it philosophy is some people legitimately have ugly heads, Very good looking people can have very ugly heads that drastically lowers their physical appearance to the world (you’re lucky and are not one) whether it’s the shape or bumps, moles, birthmarks etc and I think the stigma for wearing a hair system needs to go away and it should be accepted, even embraced and not looked down on. A person isn’t weak nor even vain for wearing a system, they are simply putting something back that they lost. Hair transplants are pretty much accepted but a non surgical form is not? People want to recognize themselves in the mirror. Shaming a system wearer (and I know that’s not what you’re doing) is little different from shaming someone who looses some of their teeth and gets fake ones put in. No one would think that was weird or weak. It’s just replacing something you had naturally with the closest man made alternative. In a world where the Kardashian’s are 60% plastic and rearranged and still worshipped over it’s absurd to think a man should have to hide wearing a hair system, especially if it looks completely natural.

    I think the hair system looks great, but I don't agree with that man's approach of telling women on the first date that he's wearing a system.
    Love and attraction is a fantasy, and that is a sure fire way to kill any spark.
    Men have got to stop this "gotta be real and honest" bullsh*t.
    When did you ever hear a woman say something like the following on a first date:
    "Gotta be honest, my tits are not real. I got a breast implant a while ago"
    "Gotta be honest, I'm wearing a lot of make up and I certainly don't look likes this after a shower!"
    "Just to be real, I'm wearing hair extensions and a push up bra"
    Answer? Never.
    I'ts about perceptions. Girls do whatever they can to be attractive and they don't apologize for it. You should do the same.
    Stop looking for people to pat you on the back for your honesty. It really shows a lack of confidence and a need for approval.

      @Joey thakid To be honest, the only thing that really sucks about balding is the lack of having a choice. The style itself is fucking awesome and will always be. A thing like a hair system is just hiding from yourself and trying to evade the inevadeable. I much rather explain to a girl that I shave my head because my hair is falling out than to say that I wear a hairpiece because I was ashamed that my hair is falling out. Ultimately, going bald is a manly thing, most men will experience it at some point in their life and those who experience it a young age will have to deal with and will arise as a stronger person without a doubt. Also, not to forget, many women really dig the look subconsciously from my experiences, because it looks dominant as fuck. A hairpiece however I belive, signals that you'll run from difficult situation when they arise, and that is not considered attractive by any means.

    • @WButterTBWButter
      @WButterTBWButter Před 5 lety

      @@baldnbearded Sure its all about choice, but I don't think a person that masks their insecurities is necessarily in a position to talk shit about people who own them instead and call them jealous. Female alopecia is far more rare and in my opinion not an ordinary condition at all. If I was a female and balding, I'd probably wear a wig too, even though I think bald girls are quite hot. MPB on the other hand is a completely normal and common condition to have, therefore its broadly accepted and I am pretty certain that I could call a person insecure could who calls me jealous. So you are right, it was a judgemental comment, but I wasn't the first one to judge. And as far as makeup goes, I am pretty sure a lot of girls use it to hide something. I am not saying everyone, some girls just like the process of putting makeup on, but if I see a women with an absurd amount of makeup, my first thought usually goes into the direction that she wants to hide something. I might be biased here, because I usally dig Women that look more natural with very little makeup.
