i havent been there in person yet but it looks kind of dissapointing especially after all that time.. it had warm colors before , now it looks sterile, like a hospital. if its all tactically the same then why did they spend so much on this renovation.
It actually looks inviting. May be I lack aesthetics
Do they have any private individual study rooms?
Yes they do have private rooms which I guess you will have to prebook
Where are the desktop computers or laptops located for the public to use????
Also, is there a place to purchase a tea/coffee and muffin like before?
Honestly, I’m not that impressed with the design.
Definitely an improvement but like others, i do find the aesthetic choice to be too white and lacking character.
Honestly I liked the old look more but what made it take 3 years ? All that renovation for these underwhelming results is suspicious to say the least
I haven’t seen the old one. Personally I am happy that the library is open. You have seen the old one so might have had some expectations I believe
What a disappointment renovation. It’s so bleak and dreary now. The books are on the floor. The space is too open.
