It was first city to have international multiplex in 2008 thts big cinemas n 2nd inox in 2010 n Hubli had its first in 2013 thts cinepolis. N currently tallest building in North Karnataka is in belgaum with 16 floors n many 12+ r existing with brands like lotus county, bella vista n the seven Wer Hubli is now planning of..N upon these it's blessed with beautiful wether, greenary, cleanliness, sight seeings in n around city in 30km area

mahantesh hadagall I have myself seen Hubli n Dharwad taking over Belgaum...wen I was a kid these two cities were nothing compared to Belgaum but now I'm amazed to see how Karnataka govt has given step child like treatment to Belgaum...as I told it's very difficult for me to fly from Mumbai my work city to Belgaum as there r no flights...there were flights till May 18 but now they have closed down that also... however there r flights to Hubli that too at much cheaper rates... perhaps u r not from Belgaum bcos if u were u wud know the difference between our roads n structures facilities lag very much behind the twin cities hubli n dharwad...pls tell me one thing that Belgaum has got in last ten years except for the tricolour but any thing for people???...n pls don't blame ppl...

I'm very sad that Karnataka looks down on Belgaum n they don't treat it well as Hubli n Dharwad...I'm not able to fly from Mumbai to belgavi as no flights however there r continuos flights to Hubli...I wish Karnataka govt tks care of my beautiful city Belgaum too...

I have myself seen Hubli n Dharwad taking over Belgaum...wen I was a kid these two cities were nothing compared to Belgaum but now I'm amazed to see how Karnataka govt has given step child like treatment to Belgaum...as I told it's very difficult for me to fly from Mumbai my work city to Belgaum as there r no flights...there were flights till May 18 but now they have closed down that also... however there r flights to Hubli that too at much cheaper rates... perhaps u r not from Belgaum bcos if u were u wud know the difference between our roads n structures facilities lag very much behind the twin cities hubli n dharwad...pls tell me one thing that Belgaum has got in last ten years except for the tricolour but any thing for people???...n pls don't blame ppl...
