When my fiancee and I got together, we would show each other new music. I showed her a lot of yours and it became a big part of our relationship. We listen to those tracks and reminisce. This new song is so beautiful, it damn near made me cry. This is such a masterpiece and I can really feel the lyrics. If this is only one single off the album, I can't wait to hear the rest.
That’s love. When I first met Aaron, sometimes we’d get together and do exactly the same thing. This was in 2006, if I remember correctly. We connected so intensely hard over music - his as well as each of our favourites. We’d drink rye and ginger and dance and just vibe. We’d talk about touring some day, while he was still struggling at the open mic stage. This man shows us what constant hard work, optimism, and strong relationships can do for us over the longterm. I’m currently going thru it all and this song has helped me so much sonreal you’ve got no idea. This is a breakup song talking about how hard it is to fight the feeling of one another even though you know it isn’t healthy with your one true love. Been following SonReal for a long time now. Over 6+ plus years when 'Try" came out. Definitely up there in the best for me. I hate that some people find these sort of artists lyrics 'corny' when it's extremely uplifting. I'm glad he's stayed true to himself and what he's doing to not just give in to temptation of what media may be influencing on people. A real one for sure.
