NGL brawl stars is very consistently good compare to other supercell games. I've played COC, CR, hayday and bomb beach all of them throughout my life. Currently I only play brawl stars daily and COC occasionally. The dev team for brawl stars is also the best in supercell IMHO.

I have been playing since 2018 and I have star Shelly and I definitely prefer 2024 over 2019 just because it feels like the community and supercell itself are more connected because they are just listening to us. Don't get me wrong I loved 2019 but 2024 is objectively better
2019 was when I first played, I had like 6 characters then lost interest, basically back when Leon, crow and spike were coveted like crazy and considered OP from what I understood. Really should’ve played more, I started again like 2 months ago and it’s awesome

imo ranked is very fun, the main issue with 2024 is that many new brawlers have been very OP and in showdown at a higher elo wintrading is just incredibly big, but other than that it was great

Not to mention the awesome events such as 100 Starr drops, Mutations, Classic brawl etc... This year simply has been more consistent and more fun. I have experienced 2019 and I can confidently say that it was extremely fun but just imagine going back to 2019 and playing the game without Brawl Pass, Knockout, Hot Zone, Brawl Ball as a rotating game mode and 3/4 of the brawlers, star powers and gadgets missing.

The early access to broken brawlers are pretty bad though.
