  • We brought our Coyote-Swapped 1956 F100 to the Grand National F100 Reunion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and ran into a truck that looks almost identical but a bit different. Meet the 1956 Ford Mercury, or the M100 as Ford fans call it. We had to interview the owner to see what the differences between these two beautiful trucks are. Stay tuned for more videos from the Pigeon Forge F100 event! Those are some beautiful old Fords you have right there. One is a 56 Ford F100 and the other is a 56 Mercury M100.

A guy and I were talking back in 1978 about the song "Mercury Blues". He told me that the song was about a truck, not a car. I had forgotten all about that. 42 years later I found a 1949 Mercury M-47 pickup. I am having it restored. Chicks LOVE a Mercury. (I swear to God they do!)

That 56 is nice but the real jewel is a 53 Merc M100. If you had pristine one, you wouldn't touch the interior since it was the 50th anniversary edition which had many unique Canadian touches in that interior including the coolest wheel horn you are ever gonna see.

Good evening, greetings. I have a 1956 Ford Mercury pick-up. It only has chassis serial number. Where does your badge or identification body go? If you don't have it where can I get it?

The Mercury M100 is basically a Canadian version of the Ford F100.

How much gravel can these trucks haul?

There's NO difference between them once they're ruined by dropping and swapping.
