Ahhhh I see what you did here đ§
Isnt that the point? They story is about people going to sleep and going into a virtual world
Even tho "zzzzz" is known as 'sleeping' I don't see how they correlate
just a heads up,, you wonât really obtain all of the characters or have a real choice as itâs primarily a gacha game so youâll be more or less gambling for said characters and you may get lucky and get the character you desire or be stuck with the starter free characters till you get someone you like
Figured that as he was flipping through them. And with allthose stats. I imagine RNG is going to be a mess likd in Genshin.
That's the main thing that keeps me away from gachas. This game genuinely looks fun though.
â@@SolidSnake240 Same. While I'm not that down bad, I did have some weakness in the past and I wasted time on mmorpgs in my youth plus crate unboxing in TF2, and gachas seem like a perfect blend of those two evil things to either waste my time or money đą
@@SolidSnake240 just pick someone in advance? This isn't pokemon. You don't need to catch them all. There's no way you'll like them all.
That's the wrong mindset people have about gacha games and why they end up frustrated, no, you're not supposed to get every single character or weapon, just save and pull for your faves, don't go after evey shiny new thing
Problem is, most players have the self-restraint of an infant đ
Man ,every single one of these incredibly stylised open world action rpg anime games we get is a free to play always online gacha game
It would be absolutely incredible if we get something like this at full price for a single player offline experience.
That would be a dream!
Basically all these polished open world games of this style are from HoYoverse and their business model is only gacha unfortunately...
they would never sell games that take so much effort for 60$ anymore, that's a thing of the past unfortunately...it's kinda funny to think that if you want a quality open world game you gotta search for a gacha lol
@@gerutzu575 Never say never. Nikke's studio Shift Up just released Stellar Blade and that looks to be a hit. So gacha developers can totally break out into regular single player games and find success. Hoyoverse could too one of these days.
@@shimadabr yeah but tbf if they wanted to make the game its finished form upfront they would need so much from investors and the game would cost loadsssss

Been following this game for a while, looks cool. Only thing that I'm a bit frustrated by is what looks like an energy system. I am not a fan when games do this, artificially prolonging gameplay for the sake of monetization. Hopefully they are generous with giving it out
Its standard for a gacha game, really annoying, if you played genshin also by them it makes it worse by giving you randomized stats on gear, itâs absolutely atrocious. You log in everyday and deplete your energy to get fuck all.
Try Honkai Star Rail, it's much more generous
@@reezwave still has the same problem except even worse with gear farming, what are you talking about?
@@reezwave I've been meaning to, but I already play genshin and dokkan. Gacha games are gonna be my job đ€Ł
@@jesseoverdijk318 Exactly what I'm talking about. Yes, there's more to farm but at least it's auto so you never feel burnout, unlike genshin where you have to play at specific day to farm specific materials.
Hoyoverse games are always flawless on performance. I've played an insane amount of genshin. It has never crashed or disconnected me a single time.
always good launch too not a single queue when million of people tried to login at the same time
ehhh... They're good with the platforms they care about. I Primarily play Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail on a pretty decent PC Rig now but I used to play Genshin on PS5 and before that.... woof... The Freaking PS4 Version of Genshin just became abominable after 3.0. It was not the best at launch but go better and better until Mid 2.0 patches. Then once 3.0's Sumeru Launched, The PS4 Team Did Not Give A Damn About QA!
Let me make this clear; there were certain Cutscenes and Enviroments that mad my PS4 Fan Rev up Louder Then ANY other game! As if the fan blades were going to come flying out and slit my thoat. It Was Louder Then Red Dead Redemption 2, The Horizon Games, And The Dad of Boi Games; No Competetion. Don't believe me how bad it got? Play the Tartaglia Fight on PS4. The fans consistently Rev up at the Exact same point during his little Transformation Sequence Cutscene. Now Imagine that but enough to jump scare a consistent PS4 player used to his console sounding like an airplane.
I should also mention it was a "Limited Edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 Pro" too, that I took very Good care of.
TL;DR: Nuh uh, Hoyo will very much pick and choose their prefered hardware and you can go Kick Rocks with any trashy out of date Tech using an HDD. Makes me laugh at the sheer concept of Genshin coming to the original Switch. Probably why they also said Screw the PS4 getting HSR.
No problems on major patch update days as well, ubisoft should take notes
@@kimsonrobinson3171 I've mostly played on ps5 and it's always been fine. can't think of any bugs or lag I've ever had. but it makes sense for them to eventually abandon the PS4 can't expect them to work on old hardware forever. but ya there is no shot it will ever run on nintendo hardware. even the next gen switch probably isn't going to be enough for it.

@darkcastle85 I see. Thanks for letting me know. I am curious about Wuthering waves and Azur promilla. It seems Azur has some promising characters, etc.
@@darkcastle85 Rip this game. At least for the ones of us that were exited because it was 16+ rated. Seems like that will never happen with Hoyoverse games. A shame I enjoyed the beta a lot. But the crazy character, gore and dialogue censorship just kills it for me.

5:08 "If you think I'm big now, I've ben bigger"
đ
Kizaru: Oooh Ben Bigger!
I really wish Genshin had the same character swap-out tag-teaming mechanics
It looks like natlan is going to implement the quick swap playstyle a lot more. If previous versions are anything to go off of, specifically the x.5 releases, chiori indicates that her playstyle of switching mid combat is going to be heavily implemented in the next region.
Like for example in 2.5 yae was said to be a shit character on release because of her split EM/crit scaling but with dendro she became one of the best electro supports for quick bloom and spread. And even though dehya is still shit after furina, she did release in 3.5 and she did basically preview the Fontaine mechanics of HP manipulation lol
I personally want more single character gameplay mechanics. So that every single character can deal a lot of damage and that swapping characters become less of a must.
It looks like they just lifted it straight from Honkai Impact 3rd, one of their previous titles. The whole game just looks like a smoother HI3 with a different setting.
HoYo has some of the most polished games in the entire industry.
Every single one of their games is peak in almost every aspect expect difficulty which is not bad, having a few casual games with insane amounts of content and fun gameplay, full of amazing lore and great writing is always good.
What a hilariously blatant lie lmao. It's ok to be a fanboy but at least be honest
Gacha games are overall shit. Ntn more. Ntn less.
Well.. Genshin was okay, the story drags out for way too long though, and there are ENDLESS side quests, maybe a bit too much. Luck on pulls isn't very great considering, I've played the game for 2 years whithout paying a dime and got only 4 legendary chars, but I've constantly spun, you have to be a whale in these gacha games to get the good characters. HSR, isn't really my type since you have to be over the top strategic and even when you are, you can lose pretty easily, it's either you play with the free characters and struggle beating the story for constant hours, or spin a crap ton to get a bunch of things you don't want and good characters to be able to beat the story in a flow, the games look great, but the gacha system, combat, and story are a bit much. We all love a bit of a gacha game from time to time, but when it comes to Hoyoverse it's either you're a whale and easily and freely beat the game, or you're a Free to play and you struggle constantly.
@@deathrayanimates6586 While I do agree with most of this, I'm also a F2P but I've had an somewhat different experience. I've been lucky with my gacha, but Genshin and HSR specifically are pretty F2P friendly imo. You can get by with just 4 stars in Genshin, and for HSR it's pretty similar. Although this is all my personal experience so it might just be bc I'm lucky. I completely understand where you're coming from tho. I just personally think it comes down to luck on your artifacts, and if there's nothing there then game mechanics (even if it's not that advanced) can also go a long way. ^^
EDIT: Just to add on I think Genshin's story has really skyrocketed since Sumeru.
Wish they would take a page from shift up and make it a non gacha
Yeah. A Hoyoverse non-gatcha game would sell like... well... like Stellar Blade.
so.. how would they make money. Making skins, people complain just like riot games or mlbb etc.
Make it a paid game, how they can maintain good quality like they always have? ( they spend alot on music and animation btw, and employees get paid more than average in their field).
Not supporting gacha, but gacha aka gamble is something u decide, no one forcing u to pay to gamble. As always, hoyoverse game can be played as f2p.
@@poiipoiipoii Regular AAA games are as if not more expensive than most gachas nowadays and very few of them have the production quality HoYoVerse puts on their games. Especially with bug fixing.
Cyberpunk, for example costed around 400 million, including fixing it after release.
Genshin, after 2 years of updates, had costed almost 500 million but by that point it had more content than it would need for a AAA release. It would just need to be focused on story and map development instead of 200 different events that dissappear after 2 weeks, and maybe limit the roster to 30 playable characters. They could then release DLCs with new characters, weapons, quests, maps that are not part of the main story, etc. It would only need to sell 8.5 million copies at 60 dlls to get it back. Zelda TotK sold 20 M in 2 months, so it's not far fetched. Gachas are already an all-or-nothing business anyway.
I wish that at End of Service, instead of nuking it altogether, they turned it into a single player game and sold it as such, with ways to unlock every character by playing. That would get them some extra money from people who simply despise gachas. But eh... never gonna happen.
@Mr.MasterOfTheMonsters If you unironically believe that Genshin Impact could sell even a fraction as well as TOTK as a full priced title, you know nothing about the gaming industry..
Genshin being sold as a 60-70$ AAA game with the same budget they put into it, would 100% be DOA. Reality is, the success of Genshin is because of it's "free to play" model.
It gives me " The World Ends with You" vibes
I cant wait to see the raiden of this universe
Whenever the game makes a guy like Stevens go from previewing the game to playing it instantly is a good sign lol.
The transition animation when swapping characters is smooth af. In Genshin and H Star Rail you just shine for a fraction of a second and your character instantly morphs into the next haha.
I wonder how many years this game has been in development. It does look like it will use the same mechanics ad Genshin and HSR for leveling, not that it's bad, surely it took a lot to develop and just because it's a new game doesn't mean it's not gonna be used.
every new hoyoverse game really looks more polished than the last.
Loving the art style gives me Jet Set Radio vibes, as a Genshin Imapct player I hope Il love this game
Gameplay reminds of PGR and i really like that combat so I'm excited for this game

I have had enough of gacha games. The pity system, rigged RNG, absurd drop and upgrades, etc. I spent a lot of money in Genshin and HSR. I regret those days I used my credit card. I know these are F2P games but the temptation is just too much. Not hating, just stating facts. To everyone, just enjoy the game without spending and do not be like me.
That's why I stopped playing. The gacha system alone made me not want to play again. Investing lots of money just to get barely anything in return. At least you can get a lot in return if you spend $50 on Steam. These games are best f2p until you hit that wall then quit
Rng doesnt matter too much for weapons, these games are always easy enough where you dont need to be 100% optimized
I love the Hoyoverse games, the atmospheres they create are just so pleasant. Like this feels very early 2000s without being blatantly inspired from it
I am beyond hyped for this game!!
Literally my favorite game out rn
Being a long time Hoyo fan, I can't wait for this.. especially as I can play on ps5.. â€
Others with likes gave their piece, but I personally wish they gave us free rein to just get into a roguelite mode earlier and just beat things up for fun without taking more than an hour for interacting with the world, characters and story. Other than that, this seems to have a solid story on its back. Nothing big but there's an ongoing plotline to achieve something while I beat things up.

How do i do it on PS5?
It's only beta right now, once it actually releases, it'll come to playstation like genshin and honkai star rail did
Right now currently it's on pre-order on the PS5 for 10 bucks.
The combat of this game looks so fun i'm so excited for it
As usual the thing I wait for is to see the monetization
The monetisation model is called Gacha. It's basically locking playable characters and weapons behind loot boxes which rotate with new additions every couple weeks.

Hey Luke plz tell the developers to optimize the game for the Poco x6 pro, thanks.
I was looking forward to Zenless Zone Zero since it was announced. I liked the more cyber punk/funk aesthetic of the game. I played it and really liked the gameplay, I also liked the story because despite it obviously having a much larger background lore the immediate story isn't as.......confusing to me as say Honkai Star Rail or Wuthering waves or Tower of Fantasy. I like a lot of the characters due to their style and personality and eager to see what happens in this game going forward. I do agree the energy system is unfortunate as it's one of the things I do dislike about most free to play games. It is also strange for Mihoyo to go back to a more combat focused gameplay as they ventured into exploration with Genshin and Star Rail but from my understanding ZZZ was in development for quite a while hence why it's gameplay loops seems more akin to Honkai 3rd impact then Genshin or Star Rail.
After this game drops, I think I'll wait for the "beginner guide" videos before i start playingđ

Seems to be another F2P Gacha Game. Which can get very expensive.
Depends. I've been playing Genshin since release and never spent a single penny and it's doable and fun. But you DO need to be patient and accept that you won't always get what you want, and that it's not worth your time to grind like crazy. If you understand that, you will enjoy these games.
If you DO want everything maxed, sure, it'll take a lot of money though it will make the game boring as hell (see whales)..
It's not for people that can't control themselves. But if you don't have those impulses you can never spend a dime on it. But they pull all the scummy tricks.
This game is on my radar for a while cuz this looks like Hoyo trying to return to hack and slash genre. I'm a fan of F2P gacha game due to accessibility (Free, hehe) and doesn't require you to spend money. I can try the game out and I only need to spend time on it. I'm a F2P player in all of my gacha games. Don't know about you but I like getting random characters then work with it.
That being said, it's Hoyoverse. There are some things they are notorious for. These things made me quit from most of their game. These things are :
1. Incredibly tough gacha. Since they are one of the top mobile gacha games developer, their gacha is pretty harsh. Premium currency generation is slow, gacha rates are low, freebies are rare, etc.
2. Great visuals but shallow gameplay. Genshin and HSR have incredible world, great characters, and awesome animations. Unfortunately, you rarely have difficult combat in Genshin. HSR on the other hand is just pressing a button. Only need to think which one to attack first. I sincerely hope ZZZ bring the gameplay more.
3. Unrelentingly slow grind. In Genshin, I have to prepare in advance if I want to level up a character that is about to release. It's painful because I want to use that character but that character will get destroyed because my world is at max level. Need to wait until that character get enough level. Also, I don't think I need to mention artifacts farming.....
HSR also has this problem. Due to the nature of turn based combat, you'll need multitude of character to suit your situation. However these individual character are so slow to level up even with daily playing. I got bored to death doing auto everyday just to level up.
Might be a stupid question but have you tried Honkai Impact? Haven't played it in a few years but I remember it as one of the best mobile games I ever played, especially in combat. Not really sure of the difficulty but from memory it was one of the best feeling combat systems I played in any mobile game up to that point. Still lots of gacha but it never seemed to bother me much at the time. Might go and download it again lol.
is' t Single player offline or online
Single player w coop mode, online
When is the game going to release
In one month
looks fun
The one problem of this game is that the tutorial takes too long
It basically takes all the way till lvl 26 when you actually unlock most of the good stuff,
And for the combat to get challenging enough that you actually have to care about combat mechanics and character specific mechanics
That's why so many people think the game is too easy and shallow from the start even though it's not true
New here, and I can tell your primary audience isnât Gacha games. Itâs interesting to see the perspective is largely negative when you truly can play a good majority of this game companyâs games for free. Itâs also sad when you consider this game company has produced not one, it two App Store âGame of the Yearâ games. You could argue this is largely because of money, but then you have to remember one of the contenders was Vampire Survivors, which had neither polished visuals or a big budget but was fun. Gacha games are still not great in concept, but are very doable if you have limited time and resources in your day to day life.
OR. And hear me out here. They could just make a fully playable game WITHOUT GAMBLING mechanics in it!

I see two problems for me in this game, I don't like gacha games even if they have good gameplay I just don't play them of course that doesn't mean the game is bad, is just that this is not for me, the other thing I find is that this game has some very arena like stages, like in every fight you are playing in a tiny square box with like 3 or 5 enemies, it seems to me it's gonna become boring way too fast, I guess that's where the gacha thing comes in.
Yeah. I felt like Genshin Impact was ok, but really, if you have already played TotK or BotW, it's just a watered down version of it that is intentionally drawn out to encourage spending and very long term play. Unless you really prefer the style/story of Genshin it is worse. But I really think the main appeal is the aesthetic and gambling mechanics.
Exactly, The game really seems to lack direction imo. It's basically fighting hordes of enemies in enclosed stages with a glorified hallway inbetween. Very boring structure and the gacha aspects are most likely going to hold it back even further. Also combat looks flashy but seems very shallow

@@ninja_tony read my comment. Iâm not âoutragedâ, heck Iâm even giving the game a shot myself. However, I think itâs a bit irresponsible for someone who has built their channelâs brand on transparency to leave that type of information out.

Oh god why did you fell into gacha rabbit hole. đ
Ow it is sponsored.
And I believe only 3 characters are unlockable, the rest are aquirable through gacha system which is sks for someone who played Granblue, Persona, Star Ocean, Disgea, and other Anime-like games.
I dunnu why won't this company make a full-fledge one-time purchase game.
No u get some characters for free aswell. Corin for example
You can tell this was a sponsored review. No issue with reviewing Gacha games and I did chuckle a bit at the "different talents" but at times it was painfully obvious they paid him to market this and not sure its a great look overall. The paycheck probably outweighs the criticism though.
100% if you watched his other videos before u can tell the difference from a mile lol
Yup. This is frankly disgusting from Luke. Not disclosing a sponsored video should be immediate grounds for termination off the platform.
Yeah.. I bet he despise this kind of games on daily basis cus it's a "weird degenerate anime" mobile games, but gotta earn money somehow and I can't deny that, but it's pretty obvious
he said it in the comments at least. kinda scummy tho
@@RDR911 Yaâll rlly gotta chill lmao. Iâm not necessarily disagreeing with the possibility that if the video wasnât sponsored, then his disposition mightâve been a little different, but he clearly said it was sponsored in the video. Not only that, but itâs in the tags and the comments too.
No perfect dodge/parry mechanic = boring
There is perfect dodging that allow a counter attack and when the enemy turns oranges u change character to parry and counter attack lol
Typical darksouls player đđ

- Does it contain a kernel level anti-cheat?
- Is the gameplay cool?

Wrap your cords in foil. Sometimes that will deter cats from chewing and clawing stuff.
Gocha game
Omg. Boarderlands and Persona had a child! Genshin is still better.
Maybe âyou and your teamâ shouldâve spent a bit more time on this video, because it baffles me that you wouldnât mention the gacha system. This is a GACHA GAME. You mentioning you can âget charactersâ and âbuild out their skill treeâ (you mean pulling extra copies, thatâs not a skill tree) can be pretty misleading to your audience that might not be accustomed to how gacha games work, at all. Kind of misleading and/or lazy imho.
Game looks cool. But it's nothing i would like to play.
