Jaboticaba in San Jose. Bay Area. Flowering already ?

It’s been in ground for 1.5 years only. But there are flowers now. Only on the branch tips though

This video was two years ago . I’m guessing your tree is bigger now and fruiting a few times a year?

@@GentleMinh yeah. Thanks for reminding me to post an update. The tree is much larger. It’s flowering occasionally but not a lot of fruit. I need to figure out why it’s not fruiting much.

@@pepechangardenI think for the first couple years of fruiting, you don’t get much. Then after a few years of fruit sparsely then will it fruit profusely. And I’ve heard it likes acidic fertilizer, so something like holly tone fertilizer is good.
