I have seen these kind of surfaces on the rails around London. I did not know why that "scratches" need on the rails. For better traction? For make the wheel's surfaces in shape while they are running? Reduce some sound frequency what damages the rails? ...and wow! Finally I know it allready. Every time after the job I went to the station (Brimsdown) and I watched that rails and tried to find out why english company burn a loads of energy to grind the surfaces. Even I asked as well. Collegas, many of metal workers, etc... Everybody had some teories, but nobody was 100% sure. Thanks for video!
Yeah, the rail grinders we have here in the US are absolute behemoths compared to this thing, but unfortunately, they run a lot slower than this (16 kph or 10 mph iirc) which can cause issues because of delays which are not a good thing especially when large amounts of people or goods need to be moved by rail from point A to point B as efficiently as possible.
Sarge_m16 Nah, bro. They run 25 mph and do the same thing. I've piloted them across the great lakes. Creates 10-12 jobs for each full switch and tangent machine setup basically.
It is probably from a generic song generator when you add music to your vid. No copyright infringement. I used my phone to listen to it but nothing came up. 🤷♀️
' not really... railroad track is a so harden strongen metal steel... never crack at all... but alot of rain / snow / water on the track and rusty eatting up track metal... time use a grinding wheel cleanning or steelwool polish it
I wish every Ad were as much educative as this one
Oh come on it was just getting good when it cut off. The voice over is really intense about his rail grinding.

Tecnologia de outro mundo!
Who are these videos made for? Rail maintenance companies? Isn't there only half a dozen in the world? (I think just one in the UK)
Then explain it you fucking genius!
This is propably from dogument.
it's made for railway compagnies, they do the maintenance theirselves ergo they need a cheap solution, which is exactly what HSG promises to provide.
Theres around 20 trains on the network rail lines and 2 on the London under ground lines.
High speed grinding sounds like what I got when I went on a stag-do to Prague. I didn't get much time for my money :(
I just watched an ad for railroads companies
Dat friction tho!
Will it work on my toenails?
I wish, the Flagler railway always looks rusted and clacking.
Hehe... High speed grinding... Reliable way...
Uhh technically no they’re loud and buzzy because smooth tracks and smooth axles is what makes them buzz
Same Porsche narrator voice ??
nice, for once there are Belgian trains in an international setting
So not all train rail joint use welding thermite?
this is used to refine the rail surface so it doesn't get permanently damaged
なんかすげぇな
