Forgot to mention to remove excess weight like floor mats and the spare tire/jack!
Even tho im 13,i still wanna learn about drag racing coz its so cool

September thru October are several race weekends. My initial plans may have gotten cancelled but there's always a race around. Will keep you posted....!
Thanks for this info. Just what I needed to help with setting up my car.👌 Drag racing isn't such a big thing here in France, and I'm probably the only Fiero in the country that races more than once a year!
PS: The front shocks don't seem to be for an '87? Did you modify le lower mount?
They are 88 font shocks, I will clarify that!! I watch your videos. Is that drag strip you go to in France?
@@FieroAustin Yes, it's an airfield in Brittany, west France. (Nearest town is Guiscriff). I'll be racing there again in september.

@@turboslugfiero Awesome. For the record, I could not find any competition engineering shocks for your car. You would have to go custom. FYI the shocks I used in the launch in the video were the KYB Gas-A-Just (they are stiffer than factory) and they did pretty well. KYB does make that series of shock for both 84-87 and 88 FIeros, check it out. amzn.to/3IOyL70
@@FieroAustin Thanks. I'll look into it. For now, I'm just trying to get the car reliable for multiple passes. We may not do a whole load of dragracing here, but when we do I can get 30 or 40 runs in a weekend !😆

Honestly if you don't want to put the cash up... have Ryan do a remote tune. Not sure how much he charges. But would be MUCH cheaper than buying the software yourself. www.gmtuners.com/eprom/index.htm
@@FieroAustin Thanks for the info! Did you do your initial tune yourself or did you have it done? Currently the main reason I've been trying to access the PCM is to turn VATS off. As I've been told that that is the reason my PCM isn't outputting a speed signal if nothing is broken.
