@carlosky24 Reptile in MK I had all of Sub-Zero's and Scorpion's moves, and none of his own. What color is Sub-Zero's outfit? What color is Scorpion's outfit? Blue and yellow make what color?
@stormshadow1231 because he was a hidden guy in the first game, and was just a pallet swap. so instead of just giving him subs moves or scorpions moves, they gave him both.
Man when I was at 0:52 and saw the bar for the time left, I thought there was an ending for reptile in this MK. Just SNES version delays a lot for each text :(
@xxdarkrainx no, even the real Mortal Kombat had horrible hit detection. That was one of my main issues with the game back in the 90s when it came out. That and all the characters had the exact same normal move set.
So i am trying to find out if MK1shang tsung had any striking moves of his own or if he had to be in the form of one of the other characters to throw punches and what not.. Anybody?..
i thought that in MK 1 a can't play reptile, becouse he is a secret player with only could fight. in MK 2 reptail is a player and i could play him. somebody coould me answer im a right??
@opiumized Yea, there were like, no combos x.x, I thought you were speaking of how much worse this video made it look, but yea the original game was clunky as hell =p
I love how the uploader claims "Both Reptile and Shang Tsung are played by CPU in this video." Yet you can clearly hear him mashing buttons in the background as Reptile kicks his ass.

I wonder...why wouldn't the announcer say the names of Goro or Reptile. I could understand Shang Tsung himself being the MK 1 announcer though

@opiumized It's not normally like that, the cheat screwed it up. Besides, Reptile was NEVER supposed to be able to fight Shang Tsung.

Normally Shang Tsung MK1 morphs into the fighters to use their moves (basic & specials) and his only move when unmorphed is the flaming skulls
