SEGA GENESIS/Mega Drive version have Fantastic Graphics but the controls.... SEGA CD version have poor graphics but accurate Prince of Persia Playability with speed select. This is the European Domark version with extra Levels and the Music Unfortunately they don't fix the brock playability of the American Tengen version
I'm a shame to admit that when I first played this game at 8 years old, I couldn't not figure out how to get passed the initial scene before making the first drop. I rented the game for a week and I couldn't figure out...oh well lol.
@granthill50 I used to play this with my dad too. :) My dad was astounded by the fact that I could get rather farther than him in the game and find a bunch of secrets, and I was 3 years old! lol
SNES version is a much better looking game. Actually SNES version is the best version. More polished, bigger and the music is great! This version is Okay and similar to PC one.
Are you kidding? This version is quite different from all the other versions (and unique to Mega Drive/Genesis) and it is one of the better looking versions with much more interesting and detailed graphics. It also has all the classic levels + 4 additional levels. Personally, I prefer this version to much more darker SNES version (with a puppet-like Prince). Also I don't like messed up levels of the SNES versions, they should have left the "classic" option for people who just enjoy normal Prince levels. But one thing I like about the SNES version is more responsive control and faster movement of Prince. Other than that (which is a huge advantage, I admit) I consider this version superior in many respects.
you don't say? whoever wrote this score wasn't really putting much effort in, i could make a better tune with my mouth that would go better to PoP than this.
Playing this as a kid was so disturbing! aguante la Sega papá!
Aguante viejooo!!!! Tuve la suerte de tener 7 y jugar esta joya en el sega de mí papá... Una locura lo sigo teniendo
Great graphics
Very interesting port of the classic game you got there, Denver.
Ahh memories! Quality game back in the day!

@Filtertraces When you jump, immediately hold down on the A button to grab the ledge. Then climb up. It took me a while to do it lol :)

I scared whenever I see ghost in this game
@DenverAlien Yep got it. Thanks!
Why is the Genesis version so different than the Snes one?
They were developed by two different companies, who baught licenses from the original publisher Broderbund.
Looks like you're playing the International version, not the US version
эх настальгия
The music is great, but I hate that it restarts every time anything happens.

me2...
un juego que me cuesta mucho jugalo
The fighting mechanics in this version is broken.
do it then! get a pc emulator and ROM, come on guys its ther 21st century, anything can be done on a pc nowadays
You clearly don't know what NES music sounds like, because this isn't it.
This looks awsome. The main guy is asain .. How he should be the white guy in the original made no sense since it was ripped off aladin lol
you can find a rom of the genesis version at emuparadise.me

The music is a joke. A really boring joke. In the SNES version it's like a movie soundtrack.
what's with the shitty audio? snes version was way superior than the genesis.
