Well, we in the NW of England have just had 6 weeks of unseasonal windy/rainy weather with only one week in June when the temp reached about 24C with some sunshine. It feels like Sept at the moment and the rest of the week is the same. We never have long summers, but I don't recall having it so bad. And yet, the system that has been set up to consume and grow still carries on as nothing has changed. Our privatised water companies have recently been questioned by the members of the Parliament about the sewage that they have been dumping into our coastal waters, while the shareholders have been lining their pockets with the money that should have been invested in cleaning the shit that we create. We talk about the climate change yet all we have done is to transfer our shit to China, India, South East Asia and elsewhere. We know IC engines are bad for the climate, yet instead of using the advances made in IC technology to create smaller, lighter more fuel efficient cars, we have used that technology to create cars that are the size of a small truck and weight just as much, have far too much power for any sane level of safe driving and have wasted the opportunity. We are now at the verge of repeating the same mistake with this Lithium Iron battery technology and we call it clean. As if Lithium just grows on trees at harvest, we go and pick it up and put in our cars. Very responsible photography, BTW. Thank you.

You should be following every single photo editor imaginable on every social media platform. This is the type of work they are looking for and you’d get plenty of work up in the northeast.

Great photos, great video. Also, telling it like it is is not political. Photographers (and journalists) have been on the forefront of bringing truth to the masses by telling the stories as they see them. Don't ever apologize or feel awkward for being honest and straightforward with your work.

Honest, inspiring and educational, a really fantastic video documenting the environmental changes in your area due to climate change. Never apologise for talking about climate change and its effects, it shouldn’t be political, it’s a message we all need to heed. Keep on doing what you do, it’s wonderful to watch!

I think what you said about climate change is a very good point: it is our duty to preserve, if not nature, at least it’s likeness. Things will start breaking down quicker and quicker, so we may miss the moment.

I live on a Mediterranean island and these episodes of flooding have always been common at the end of summer in these areas. Lately they are less predictable and more dangerous. In October 2018, we experienced heavy rains that flattened a small village and killed 13 people. Here we are very aware of climate change.

It is fairly solid - I have to be honest, I picked it up from a flea market a few years back so I have no idea who makes it.

Enjoyed this video also, Robbie. Looked like this wasn't the first bad flood ever to have been in this area. Where I grew up was once under nearly a mile of ice not all that long go in terms of life on the planet. Brrrr, hope we don't intend on recreating that Climate period.👍👍

@@RobbieMaynardCreates According to you, yes. The #1 cause of "climate change" is greenhouse emissions. So put the cheeseburgers & bacon down and pick up a salad everything should go back to normal in no time.
