Thank you! My Son recently flew out from Oregon to CO for a week due to a death in the family, since I have another car I can drive I gave him my Toyota Corolla for the week which of course is the car I prefer to drive. A few nights after he had left I realized he had dimmed the dash light as low as possible which was driving me crazy, I couldn't find anything in the manual of the car so of course my next option was CZcams and was fortunate to find your video explaining exactly how to adjust them.

Aaww! Thanks, so much for doing this video - you're the only one I could find who outlined dash-light brightness setting method for a 2007 2008 ZRE152 corolla (hatch in my case) - good job Ross. I was one setting off the max brightness, so I upped it to max bright. This Corolla probably has the worst speedo read-out as far as clarity goes.
BTW, so what is that dial (1-5 settings) below the dash on the right hand side ?? I thought it was the dash light adjustment but when I turn the dial with the ignition on, I can hear a slight whirring at the front engine area ??

hi there, thanks for your comment, and for watching, the other dial is to raise and lower the headlights, test it against a wall and you will see. it is there if you have a big load or you are towing so you can slightly adjust it. Hope that helps. Ross
