This song really taps into something very intimate and achingly beautiful- different than a lot of songs & sounds that Filter is known for. I remember getting Short Bus on CD and being blown away by Stuck In Here and So Cool being the bookends to what would be Side A & B, respectfully. Both uncharacteristically mellow and vulnerable and it makes for a great contrast to the heavier stuff that permeates the rest of the album. It has aged very well.
This is, by far, the best rendition of the track that I have ever heard. A fun fact: The DVD version, Title of DVD, has corrupted audio. The VHS version, Phenomenology, has pristine audio.

Filter played support to The Smashing Pumpkins that night - where the Pumpkins asked the crowd to stop pushing twice before quiting the show prematurely. A young Cork teen Bernadette O'Brien got badly crushed that night and subsequently died from her injuries the next day. D'arcy even pleaded with the crowd to stop pushing, saying there's a girl dying backstage and asked if they even cared. You can see in this video the stands are empty as security failed to keep people in their seats as they all surged to the floor. RIP Bernadette O'Brien.
Yes that's very true. My Brother was at that show, said it was pandemonium. That's why there were more barriers put in place later. I think the way the Point is now as the 3 Arena with the new layout is much better. There's more room on each side for people to move from the middle. And If you have tickets for upstairs, you do not get to go on the floor, and vice versa.
I was there, great show, unfortunately after they asked the crowd to stop pushing forward for the last time, pumpkins started playing bullet with butterfly wings, which was huge at the time, crowd surged like crazy of course, and pumpkins eventually walked off

When the Pumpkins came on the crowd surged forward and a young girl got crushed and later died in Hospital. The Pumpkins cut their set short and cancelled the following nights concert. I wasn't at this particular gig but my brother was.
