This video is about somebody learning how to change engine and cabin filter. He figures it out, in the end, and we learn with him.
That said, the second cover for the cabin filter has two tabs, one on the left and one on the right. He only pushed the one on the right and then yanked the cover, which could damage the other tab. You first push the inner tab (left), then the right tab, and don't have to yank out anything.

K&N is a waste of money. You have to get the oil level on the filter just right. Can't be too much, can't be too little or else you just have the equivalent of a normal paper air filter. Also, they let more dirt by. They don't tell you that part, they only tell you about the air. But it's true, they flow better because they're cotton but they let more dirt from the air into your engine. Which over the life of the car, does matter. Some people keep their cars for 8 to 10 years, they just take good care of them and make them last. Some people keep them even longer. So you need to know that K&N isn't all upside. There are definitely disadvantages to them. Which is why I just stick with a good quality oem style paper air filter. Like Wix brand, or even the house brand of your dealer.

Are you smoking out of one those free Biden pipes? A filter is a filter as a filter is a filter. Just change them and clean them ffs.

@@VIPDCUSTOMS Might as well be. They're both cotton. Unless there is some difference in the exact fibers they're using, but I don't think there is.

@@travissnyder8277 That's wrong. Cotton flows more air, which makes a total of 1% more particulate passing through the filter. Over the lifespan of the engine, that's a lot. Some people actually take care of their vehicles, and make them last 10 or more years. Which means that 1% over that much time makes for more engine wear. For people like me, that ain't good.
