I am a victim of domestic violence and have a PTSD diagnosis. Her performance made me cry - she is a fake, dangerous, and a disgrace to anyone who has ever suffered abuse. We do not talk about it the way she does. We cry with tears, not dry eyes. Trauma memories do not remember the colour or cleanliness of a carpet or misted breath on a window, but forget the emotions we felt. She needs to be prosecuted for perjury.

@@barphh while that is true that everyone reacts different- psychology is based on science and then DSM-5 that is used universally has clear scales that record and determine with almost complete accuracy if someone falls under that diagnosis. Dr. Hughes really aired her dirty laundry by saying “I diagnose/label people in my office all the time without having them take the test” which I understand that to be highly illegal to do such things under the guise of your clinical expertise. Also, PTSD is shown to be one of the most commonly and easiest mental disorder to fake. So she just completely lost credibility from that slip up alone in my opinion, not even considering all of the other nonsense she spewed.

I had the same problem. It felt so scripted, so unauthentic, so unemotional.. Yet overdramatic. The mediocre or extra-expressive faces she does, the soft voice and the unbelievable detailed and horrific graphic story that she tells looking directly at the jury... and I can't relate to her, I can't find myself sympathizing with her. It feels like a scene from a bad movie you know? A perfect victim scenario, with zero sense. I guess not all people process things in the same way, but there are emotions that are proven to be universal to us. How can it be so difficult? How can she communicate yet feel so disingenuous to so many of us?
For someone who allegedly had many traumatic experiences from Johnny, how can you face it all, remember it all yet, still... feel so inhumane. I don't believe I've ever felt this unattached to a proclaimed victim. And it scares me that someone could do this, fabricate a serious problem in our society, and try to destroy someone else in the process - for who knows what.

I was a victim of physical abuse and sexual abuse from a husband. I can tell you you do not taunt the abuser as heard in the recorded evidence and you sure as hell don't buy them a knife. She should be ashamed for fabricating this as people, men and women actually suffer real abuse and this makes it harder, especially for men, to come forward with their real true stories. I know people are gonna say, “not everyone acts the same blah blah”, but COME ON.
I’m a victim of abuse, and I know a group of women and a couple men who are victims of abuse/SA. We sometimes have group therapy just to validate each other’s experience and emotions. It’s a mix of a mess of tears, awkward jokes and looking away.
Amber has these emotional “cries” - but when questioned, goes right back into regular speaking patterns. Also, when she “cries” or explains these “traumatic experiences”, she makes a point to look around at everyone in court. So everyone can see how “sad” she is.
From my experience and experience in a group setting, no one has ever done that. A person normally looks away when explaining, or cannot maintain eye contact/focuses on something other than someone’s face. Why? Because you feel ashamed, embarrassed and hurt.

You are wrong! People do talk that way in real life when they have had this kind of physical and psychological abuse. If she wanted to make this dramatic and contrived, she could make it far more interesting. First, she would have to have an amazing ability to memorize hours of "made up" stories, the stories describing cycles, the charm, the accusations, the threats, the tears, the appology then on to the charm again. Each one escalated from where the last left off (as abusers do). With lots of interruptions, she has regurgitated it out smoothly. Secondly, when you look at Depp's face, he is displaying the anger and hate he felt the night he did and said those mean things. She has made statements that describe exactly how it feels to be with an abusive person you think you "love", who is outwardly so incredibly charming that no one will believe the evils you just saw them do or say - always asking yourself "why would they do/say such ridiculous things, to cause so much pain and suffering". The charm, thinking "now it will get better, we've worked through it and figured this out". Then it begins again: a mood/moodines, walking on egg shells, the accusing, the blaming, one moment having a wonderful time, the next moment fearing for ones life, staring at the "dirt in the carpet" or a bug on the wall until it passes. Only someone who has been there can really make this up. The psychological turmoil all of the threatening, embarrassment and physical abuse stays with the victim for a very long time. The rush a charmer gets off knowing they pulled another one over someone or got away with it again is likely what they enjoy the most.

@@katgee7115 With all due respect, I cannot think of a place without something inappropriate anymore. High school students have sex in the hallways at my daughter’s school. It’s disgusting. In regards to her channel it says 18+. I was molested for 8 years until the day he blew his brains out & I am not in that industry. There are girls who grow up in a “perfect” household that go into that profession. Have you noticed a lot of the girls that go to Catholic schools have sex with any & everyone. Let’s not assume all sex workers were molested.
Also, CZcams, Disney, & other apps/streaming services have the option for children to censure what they may or may not see.

Abusers will defend themselves from looking bad/looking like the abuser by minimizing their actions. They will also flip the abuse on their victim by inciting and baiting the victim into reactionary abuse and then try to take the high ground once they got the reaction they wanted. I stand with JD

This is absolutely a big slap on the face to everyone who have been a victim, and still is a victim of domestic violence, be it a man or a woman. I've never seen anyone who tried so hard to act victim! Her face expression says it all, comes with her scripted story that she seemed to have memorized so well. Keeping the victim-like eyes while trying to get the jury's sympathy. Downright acting! And to make it worse, a very dreadful acting!

Johnny himself knows he had a substance problem and alcohol issues.. men or women can do things under the influence my ex became a different man under it .. i divorced him 40 years Both ago .. both of them need growth. Both Amber and Jonny are a fault, it always takes 2 to tango. Picking sides is foolish there is no growth in doing that. And how do you know what him or her were like behind closed doors , you don't...no one is innocent here. It is foolish to think or choose otherwise.

@@vlucidity lol it was a typo, thats a thing ya know…anyways No doubt drugs and alcohol changes a persons attitude, personality ect. their relationship as a whole was obviously toxic I’m not debating that, but the fact is there is no proof whatsoever that she was hit by him. But there’s proof that she actually hit him, thanks to her own recording, how she acts during her testimony under oath, is consistent with how people act when telling lies. She posed for a picture with a tissue on her face even-in court, which pictures in court will be publicized, therefore is somewhat proof she is trying to manipulate the general public, She testified that Johnny Depp held their dog out the window, when there’s video proof that she had actually done this. She has crocodile tears when telling parts of her testimony. She sits there during Johnny Depps testimony, and cross examinations so confidently and is constantly looking around the room, while with her testimony and cross examination he doesn’t look up often to even examine the room, and is doodling. Which is a sign he was abused by her, as well as a sign that he is trying to cope with the trauma she caused him. She constantly looks toward the jury and is overly detailed about what took place and the setting of where such things took place, which is a sign she is trying to manipulate the jury into believing her side. She hit her ex-wife even. There is proof of both sides of body language, language, and actions that prove that Johnny Depp is innocent as far as any abuse goes.

@@vlucidity It’s quite obvious that both Johnny and Amber have done things that were not correct in their relationship. That’s not what this court case is about.
Amber is trying to place the entire blame on Johnny. Trying to take her actions where she abused and severely injured him and either completely deny it, make it seem like less of a big deal, or turn the situation around so she is the victim. She is saying that she never abused Johnny Depp, while there are obvious holes and inconsistencies in her story. Her subconscious body language isn’t entirely matching up with what she’s testifying, especially when she’s mentioning Depp in a negative light. She publicly defamed him and ruined his reputation, along with multiple relationships that he had without any proof. From her side of the story, Depp is an abusive drunk who would go on drug binges constantly. Her story is not adding up. She doesn’t have definitive proof at all.
