Damn Hephaestus really take it personal the last time you said you aren't going for his boon. Now everywhere you go, there will be just Hephaestus.
If ya wanna upgrade Frinos, you need more pet snacks, which you'll get the ability to make more of eventually.
By the way, the bing bong is Hera. Shes the goddes of marriage so theyre wedding bells. Her crest can be viewed as a wedding bell instead of a sheild like i originally thought.
oh i thought her boon crest was in the shape of a stylized peacock feather, after her favorite and sacred animal, like her design! but also seeing it as a wedding bell is super pretty
@@katiedeity4399i saw the peacock feather also! But the idea of a wedding bell is actually really nice, in my opinion the sound is both bells and a bird screech
Apollo’s cast boon where it makes it keep growing is crazy good with Charon’s aspect
If you look at the plants in your inventory it says what they can be used for and deathcap just says it can be sold to the broker for bones if you want to confirm it for yourself.
Also this run was super fun to watch. The Charon axe feels absolutely broken. I had a very similar run recently except I had the heroic Apollo cast and it just melted everything.
Polyphemus’s voice reminds me so much of Hammerhead from Spectacular Spider-Man. I wonder if they share a mutual inspiration.
That Cyclops seems like a real Wreck It Ralph, he's a bad guy but that doesn't mean he's truly a _bad_ guy XD

I think it's an awful duo boon myself. Maybe if it was crazy, like +4 levels per? But... it's asking you to completely ditch stuff that you may be relying on or building around.

@@Retromation Careful. It's clear that CZcams has a soft spot for them which is why they allow bots to run rampart on the website. If you keep attacking the bots, you might attract the wrath of the God bot, the *ALGORITHM* D:
The last arcana card which need no more than 3 active cards to be awaken doesn't take into consideration those that cost 0, so by activating as much 0 card with 3 other cards, you can probably get all your arcana cards activated after a few bosses (considering arcana level ups and circe keepsake)
Kings Ransom said increase each of your Zeus boons by +2 per hera boon- so if you have 3 Zeus and 3 Hera boons, for example, it should give up the 3 Hera boons to increase the levels of all your Zeus boons by 6.
I'm pretty sure that the Bath Salts might be a higher tier gift for those that you can't give nectar to, just based off of common game mechanics. This might be what you need for Hypnos, especially due to some of the IRL uses of bath salts.
yes. there are 3 tiers. nectar is basic one, bath is second-tier and fishing bait is last tier.

I don't know if you have seen it or not, Retro, but I think after repeated perrying. You gained a temporary shield. You ate a lot more of her damage. Oh, also bath in the hot spring.
I do think the wording implies that the keepsake does not Work as a workaround. The keepsake says "activate arcana card" and the fear modifier says it cancels the benefit. The card would get activated by the keepsake, but the effect would be negated.
The wording on that vow means that keepsake should be useless. It says nullify the benefits not deactivate the arcana card. It would counteract that card wich lets you have only 3 cards
Ignoring the potential comedy of asking why there are so many bongs, Hera's boon dialogues always include bell sounds - goddess of marriage gets wedding bells.
Just so you’re aware for future: The Hera-Zeus duo boon said gain 2 levels for each Hera boon you gave up so it can give multiple levels for your Zeus boon
Noticed you keep counting the elements if your boons. The header of the boon interface already totals the elements for you.
That Hera/Zeus Duo could be GOOFY goofy with the right boons. Death to Chronos...or is it Eris now?
Bring spade to the surface for a few runs, get those them seeds....

I was originally under the assumption you'd only be able to get one familiar so was scared when you chose the frog so quickly XD though it makes sense you'd be allowed more and swap between them similar to the weapons. I'm now curious just how difficult it is to get another scroll or whatever it was that allows you to get the cat or doggo since it has already been a while. Hadn't heard much talk about familiars (in game) for a while until this mention of Animal Familiar buff was shown.
After you unlock Chaos Trials you get the ability to make more treats. They also can be used to upgrade your pets. Frinos gives more max health and Toula heals you more after you use death defiance. And you can upgrade their attacking abilities too

upgrading crystal figurine upgrades the rarity of the arcana card it gives you
Seems best cast boon is the one from Apollo that shoot laser beam when omega cast end
Crystal figurine is for the whole run. Next upgrade activates it at rare, then at epic.
The chaos charm is a great starting one because you can get epic chaos boon permanently.
I had a crystal figurine run where i got the bottom right arcana that gives you 5 more arcanas per boss (upgraded) ended up with +11 arcanas for the Chronos fight.
generally, it is better start off with one of god boons. With axe, i like starting with demetry, her ice attack is really good for clearing room safely. axe has low attackspeed so the freeze has good synergy, appolo is also choice. Axe has variation based off hammer upgrades. Dagger is best to run Poseidon then Zeus since that weapon is all about hit-on's either with dagger throw or melee. The 2 sticks should run hera. Her mana boon is really strong because the entire strategy of the stick is to build like 300 max mana and then use Hera's mana boon to keep refreshing your mana pool for primary attack. Skull wants Hephaestus to proc all of the burst damages then get any of those mana boons. The staff is best with aphrodite . she has this boon where all health sources are increased in value. it is super broken because the staff arm gives you hp when your hp is below 50%. it is basically unlimited lifesteal. if you have 300 hp. when you fall to 150 hp, you can just keep regaining hp over and over and it has crazy synergy with stuff like Zeus feedback, Daze debuff and Hephaestus msns boon & weakened. full-tank staff just makes chronos super easy.

I've found that the axe parry is more effective on singular big hits, and if you use it akin to the dash, but it's definitely finicky and hard to use consistently. Like, I've used it to block Chronos swinging at me before, which is wild. It works even if you don't start channeling, which I think is more effective if you actually want to defend yourself?

Why didn’t the Hera Aphrodite duo not have voice lines
Can you try to not destroy the pylons and move onto the next room and possibly get all the upgrades available

I heard many people saying it might be harder than Chronos, and many people warned me it was really hard. So maybe I just make it look "so ez" who knows.
@@Retromation Personally, I think Eris is easier than Chronos (once you get used to her moves), but she also comes up way sooner in the run so you´ll always be weaker.
And as the "second area boss" she is much, much tougher than the Sirens.
(important reminder that Eris is not the final boss. There´ll be more after her in full release.)
@@Retromation there is stone thing that really hard. you get 2 mana sticks and your only allowed to use Aphrodite boons while fighting Eris. I'd say she is easy IF you play ranged but hard if you play melee which that build encourages. good luck on that one.
