The icons used for Samsung Galaxy smartphones has evolved significantly over the last 14 years. In this video you will see the evolution of key Samsung Android icons from 2010 to the present. For reference, the messaging app in 2023 is the Google messaging app, and in Korea it is the Samsung messaging app. (I live in Korea)

Point of corrections:
The 2018 messages icon was blue and green, not orange.
The Notes icon of 2018 had the Samsung Experience UI design.
In addition, the Galaxy Store icon of 2018 had a Samsung Experience UI design, and the background color was a rainbow gradient.
Lastly, the Music icon is still updated regularly by Samsung (though it has not been a native app since 2017).
