Eating the BEST FOOD in the BALKANS! (Skopje, Macedonia)

  • We spent two days trying the most incredible food in the Balkans in Skopje, North Macedonia! We tried some of the most famous Macedonian/Balkan food from Tavce Gravce to Selsko Meso!
Macedonian cuisine was something we didn't know much about but is now one of our favourites! It is almost a representation of the Balkans itself, with an incredible mix of influence from other areas in the Balkans, the Ottoman Empire, some Slavic, Italian influence and just the amazing freshness of the ingredients straight from the fertile land. This was one of our most incredible food tours!

Gospel of Jesus Christ. John 3:16 For God So loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have Everlasting Life. Jesus Christ Died on the Cross for all the sin of the World, and now we can be Forgiven of all of our sins and be washed clean by the Blood of Jesus Christ for our iniquities trespasses... now all you need to do is Repent of all of ur sins (Repent means Change ur Mind turning away from sinful things and being truly sorry with all ur heart, and if you Repent and still go back to sinful things nothing will happend but if you are truly serious Lord will change ur life forever) (example of repenting Father God I ask in Jesus Name please forgive me of all my Sins I acknowledge that im a sinful man/woman I am truly sorry and trust in Jesus that he lived suffered and died on the cross for me and my sins so I can be Forgiven was barried and that you rised him on the 3th day please wash me clean with the blood of Christ make in me a new heart that can love and forgive Lord change my desires change me Lord Jesus come into my life change everything about me make me a new creation fill me with ur HolySpirit...)is what sin is Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ. and the only way to heaven is Trough Jesus Christ there is no other way! John 14:6 I Am The Way The Truth And The Life No Man cometh to the Father Except Trough Me. and you are saved by Grace Trough Faith not by works, we cannot save urselfs from sin we don't get to go to heaven because
we don't get to go to heaven because we are a Good People we are not!, we cannot earn ur salvation it is given to us as a Free Gift all we need to do is receive it! Romans 3:23 For All have sinned and Felt Short of the Glory of God. There is none Good but God!, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
      Revelation 21:8 KJV.

Pastrmajlija isn't pizza... Its like a pie often with pork or chicken although the word " Pastrma " means lamb/sheep meat that is dried... The real pastrmajlija is with dried lamb meat and 1 hot pepper, there isn't ketchup, cheese, ham or anything like that, only dried meat and dough with hot pepper.

The word Macedonia itself is literally a Greek word, from Μακεδόνες meaning the “highlanders”, and the name Alexander is literally from Greek, ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΣ, from two ancient Greek words, αλέξειν (alexin) “to defend, protect” and ἀνδρός (andros) “man.” Alexander the Great was Greek, spoke Greek, the ancient Macedonian language was the Greek language, and Alexander spread Greek Hellenic culture throughout the world.
The Greekness of Macedonians is the basic accepted world truth. All serious historians, archeologists, geologists, and academics know that the Macedonians were always only Greek and that Macedonia was an Ancient Greek Kingdom located in northern Greece only, and NOT the region that today is called “Northern Macedonia” which corresponds to the ancient kingdom of Paeonia, not Macedonia. According to literally every legitimate study and research, the ancient Macedonians spoke and wrote only Greek, worshiped the same Greek religion that the rest of Greece practiced, participated in the Olympic games (where ONLY Greeks could participate), and spread the Hellenistic Greek culture and Greek language across the known world.

Aegean Macedonia was told by the Greeks at that time that they are Macedonians who are speaking slavic and have forgotten the Greek language. I have ancestors and relatives from Solun(Thessalonika) and we are of the same bloodline but I am born in Skopje.
Many Macedonians have relatives in Greece but nowadays that truth is getting forgotten... the people who stayed after the Greek occupation on the Aegean Macedonian region are of the same blood as us!
Nowadays they are mixed with Greek people yes but they were Macedonians speaking slavic same as us!
It was forbidden to speak our language and were forced to learn and speak Greek or leave (or be killed), so many people fled from Aegean Macedonia(one of them was my ancestor). Many Macedonian(slavic) speaking villages were pillaged and burned so only the Greek language would be spoken.
The Greek propaganda was good to switch from telling us that we are Macedonians who have forgotten the Greek language... and now we are not Macedonians because they have a big chunk of our territory?

Why in earth I think, that this "börek" and 2 sweet dishes were filmed/taken in Ohrid by the lake? I could even point out that spot, where you are walking from a bakery... Funny indeed...
