@@DerekHallman 90% chance you will be going to the hospital if you hit a tree at those speeds. I have never seen anybody who didn't. I would sure get the saw out or pad them. Lots of speed, lots of trees. The longer nobody hits one, the higher the probability goes. It is a lot different than hitting the ground.

Not real fast in the corners, (not many really know how to ride a 2-stroke like the old pro's anymore). But the jumps today are in the middle of the straight on tracks today, so he could stop in the corners and make them.

Man that thing sounds so good.. so bitter sweet cause in one sense you got this perfectly tuned 125 that sounds super crisp 0-100% but now you have fuel injection system, battery and e start with no kicker alternative, electronic power valve... not as simple as a traditional 2 stroke. Still better than a 4 banger tho lol

It depends on who you ask, the EPA, (would say 100:1) or the manufacture, (probably 32:1) Which one do you trust the most?

hey man im thinking about upgrading to a 125 (rn i ride a yz85) but i dont know which brand to get?. im still quite new but know the basics like jumps and stuff (ive riden for about 1 year and a half) i pobroly wont get a brand new bike maybe a 2020-2022. Do u have any suggestions??

I gotta say YZ also, but man they are tall. I am 5'9" and lowered my 2019 250 by .75" in the suspension, (did it myself), and 1" off the seat. Then I rotate my bars down like we did in the 80's, with the lower lever set up,---because everybody is using a freestyle set up today,---and they can not really explain objectively why. But I can totally explain why we had it right in the 80's.

how's bottom end to last year
been considering getting one but have heard there are some issues with mapping. have you had any issues? my only reserve is that its a first year bike. also, do you run 93 pump or race gas?
I’ve been looking into these new TBI bikes as well. I agree, only thing holding me back is it being a first year bike. What kind of issues with the efi mapping are you hearing? is that just for the 125’s, or all the new TBI 2t?
@@jarrod_hickman on the mxa 125 shootout video I believe they said on the lean map it was detonating a little so they had to add some race gas. I forget if it was also there or elsewhere that I heard the richer map had a bog or they could get it to bog. The other tbi models im not sure

Might be a bonehead question here. Is the power delivery the same from the carb versions to the FI? I've only been on 4 strokes and 1 clapped out RM125 2 stroke from like 97.

You want to get the rings seated to the cylinder wall as fast as you can,---and that means high cylinder pressures, (where the torque is).
