maybe the track was better with 350, but that beast looks the fastest without even looking at the lap time... think 450 is the fastest for a skilled rider (like you), but for an amateur (like 95% of rider) 250f and 350f are amazing... I think the 2 stroke are more fun though! great video! 💪🏼
Can he race the 350 in the 450 class?
@@_.momjeans_9219 yes, I think
@@_.momjeans_9219 yes you can
I agree on both points. I loved my 350 and it is an amazing bike, but I just have more fun on my 250sx.
450's are also only faster if you are actually a top level rider. Even Roger DeCoster said that most pros aren't riding the 450's to their limits.
Late comment but for those who like specs here you go
125sx: 37.5hp/ 17.9ftlbs torque/ 193lbs
250 sx-f: 39.8hp/ 19.1ftlbs torque/ 232lbs
250sx: 49.2hp/ 23ftlbs torque/ 210.5lbs
350sx-f: 54.6hp/ 26ftlbs torque/ 234lbs
300sx: 57hp/ 34.6ftlbs torque/ 225lbs
450sx-f: 55hp/ 34.3ftlbs torque/ 234lbs
I spent 30min looking up the numbers for all the bikes out of curiosity so if anyone wanted to see it I've saved you 30min lol.
Ride safe everyone 👍
Interesting that the 350 and 450 make the same max power with different torque. I’ve heard that’s also the case with the 125sx and the 150sx (the bike I own).
@@Stefan-vv9sv yea I was surprised how close the 350 and 450 were also. I checked and didn't see a whole lot of consistent dyno tests for the 150 but the 1 I did find said 40hp an 19ftlbs of torque making it a very interesting match for the 250 four stroke knowing it will be lighter as well
Thanks!
Thanks mate saved us all some time!
The 300sx must be fucking scary
Hella fast and what looks like you had the most fun on the 250 2 Stroke!
Chaboyy sur une video de cross 😳
Chaaaaa, are you riding in uk,tommy is dominate.Missing you
Chaboy lol. We switching sides tog
Dafuq😯Your BF3 Vids are insane!
Imagine that he’s this hella fast and is “just” a top 20-25 guy. Motocross is very competitive. Go Jeff 💨🙏🏼
I forsee much better than just top 20-25 this year. I personally think Jeff is going to surprise all of us.
I think Jeff will take good few points this season! Then there is also european riders, some of them even faster than americans especially on tough conditions. Hard to even believe that theres a lot of even faster riders when you see someone like Jeff flying around the track on practice sessions.
This is how you do a comparison video
Stock bikes, not buddies “slightly” stock or another guy that has a burned clutch. Although I do appreciate those videos.
Not sure how they obtained the bikes for testing but this is definitely how to do it!
Again, thanks to everyone making content!
Day 63 of Cheering on Jeff: GO JEFF!
You could sure tell the 450 had it's advantages with a skilled rider. The 300 and the 350 looked awesome though. Definately would be the way I would lean.
Sorry Jeff, I do not participate in social media. CZcams comments are as social media as I get. Good luck to all those in the giveaway. Enjoy your content. Have 3 bikes myself.
I’ve got a 2015 husky te 300, the 350 might be close on the track but the 300 will always win in the top end and on the trails
@@DavidMoore-br7ge 350 is an absolute woods weapon. You’re only comparing preference.
@@DavidMoore-br7ge I think it depends on the difficulty of the trails. Extreme enduro clearly the 300's dominate. But GNCC stuff the 350 is killing it.
I rode a ktm300xc and I’m 115 ponds and holy crap
Jeff, AJ, and Stank Dog on 2 strokes for 2022 Nationals would be incredible and I bet they would all kill it! Built in marketing too because everyone loves to see a pro on a 2 stroke plus they all have huge online followings and awesome personalities. That would be a sick KTM team repping the new 2 stroke line
I would absolutely do it on one of these new 2 strokes! My 2019 would struggle I think
There is rumor that the AMA going to allow the 300sx against the 450s for 2023.
@@henricusrealms8411 will never happen 2 strokes are dead in ama pro ranks
@@JeffWalker84 what is this giveaway? Is it you? Legit? Tnx
@@XecuTionNxx they’re coming back slowly and dominate many offroad pro races, not dead at all. Also that rumor is like 80% confirmed right now.
Thank you so much for doing this Jeff. This is fantastic! Can’t imagine it was a quick video to make and edit, very very appreciated! ✌🏻🙏🏻😁
You’re literally my biggest inspiration to get good at riding! You’ve been killing it Brotha!!
The 250sx lap is just too fun to watch. You'd have some real potential racing one with some time spent on it
Hey Jeff is this to win the 250sx. Or all the bikes? I really need to get back into my favorite hobby and miss riding so much. The ktm 250sx is a 2 stroke powerhouse!
@@brettkenney6464 definitely spam account trying to hack
This was awesome. Pure sound. No bullshit. Continuous riding one bike after another and god damn super human like stamina. This is the way that all comparison videos should be filmed. Well done to all involved. I’m tired after 13 minutes if just watching.
Amazing video! Loved the combined lap.
that 250 was just ripped to bits!! keep bringing the videos throughout the year, and best of luck
I think he looked best on the 350 but that's just my opinion. Would love to hear what he has to say about all of them
Sweet riding! 🤘
Dude this was hands down the best KTM new line up intro video of all the ones I’ve seen. You nailed it man. I think this is what a lot of people would prefer to see…back to back riding and let the bikes do the talking! 🤙
Jeff on the Honda back when he rode Florida track and trails is what got me to go buy a bike
dude you were RIPPING on all of those! cant wait to see your season this year man
I grew up riding 2strokes. I had a couple 125’s & a 250. It amazes me at how fast & strong the 125’s of today are. I’m a woods guy so just from what I’ve heard, a 200 2stroke is plenty in the woods & a lot easier to ride because it’s not ripping your arms off. The 350 is my 4stroke bike of choice for the track or woods. I loved my KTM 350EXC so I know that 350SXF has to be a blast to ride!
You shredded that 250 (4 banger)
I love this sport I really wish to one day have the power to have a bike and practice this, I rode 50cc KTM when I was a kid but after that things went downhill economically for my family (we live in Mexico) but I keep my hopes up and stay loving the first sport I ever competed in
Gawd damn, We need you back on the 250 4 stroke
, I miss those rev limiters :* . Go Jeff !!
Good luck this outdoor season jeff looking good on the bikes!
Your footage is always so clean and super entertaining bro!! Can’t wait to see you in the nationals this year🤘
Thank you, I appreciate it man!
The video we've been waiting for
Looked like Jeff was feelin that 250f 😂🤘
4:23 threw it extra hard after noticing the camera guy 😂😂 love it
Incredible footage
This video is so good great content and you’re a straight ripper by the way
the 250f sounds exactly like my 07kx250f. the 350f looks absolutely sick, you were railing the outside lines on that thing like a madman!
Love watching your videos bro, always inspiring and can’t wait to see you racing supercross and hope to see you racing national this year🤘🏽🔥
The 300 2 stroke is the main attraction of this line. To bad it won't release this summer its going to be a long one not riding once again waiting for this thing to drop. As always Jeff still rips the 2 Bangs 🤟🤟🤟
I was really hoping to see which models you could clear Lorocco's Leap with!
Great content 👍👍👍
IMO The 300sx and 350sxf looked and sounded the best, the 250f just beneath them. The 125 and 250sx both sounded lean in the mid-range to me for some reason and the 450 looked like a real hand-ful with a very skittish front end. Great riding throughout though! Cheers all!
The combined lap was cool.
geez your fast on a bike major props to you man.
Freakin loved it!!!!!
Your corner speed is incredible
Hyped can’t wait to watch also are u starting outdoors at pala?
dude those laps were fire
Awesome 👏🏼
Thinking of getting 350 SXF but not to sure yet haven’t raced for a while because of all the stupid lockdowns and stuff but definitely looking forward to getting grackle into it
Lookin good man keep up the awesome work! 👍
tbh I think you look faster on a 250 :D
You seemed like you got the most potential out of the 250 4-stroke. the 125 struggled on a couple of the tabletops (I think the 2nd tabletop was more your fault though, you didn't get a good entry/exit on the prior corner) whereas the 250f just shredded everything you threw at it. Absolutely incredible to see how far 4-strokes have come in the last 25 years.
i needa see that 125 is what i was thinking last video! awesome
you are a monster! Go Jeff
looks like fun!
Great job! Which bike is faster in the end 450sxf or 300sx?
Never would’ve guessed the 300sx two-stroke made the most power and torque out of all of them! Interesting. Thanks for looking that up!
That’s at peak. The 450 still kills it on low end out of a corner
Jeff you did the comparison on lap times with youre 250 vs 450 and the 250 won, dont you think that riding a 350 on mx1 could give you advantages? I know its less displacement but if you can ride "better" with less displacement than perhaps it would be a fun adventure.
Like Tony Cairoli in years 2010-2014 on ktm sxf 350 ccm in MXGP
with that scream you had explain perfectly what it means ride a 250 2 stroke! ❤️😍
It’s incredible how this dude is so talented
Good video and NICE BIKE
Thanks JWalk, now I won't be able to sleep without seeing all these amazing new machines scream in my head, dammit! So excited to get my hands on a new 2023 KTM :)
Jeff would love to hear your comments about them all after riding them back to back.
Sheeeeeew! Any thoughts on the tree-fiddy? Should be ordering a husky in a few days!
I was looking a getting the 23 350sxf because my 250f wasn't enough. I've never been on a 2 stroke so with that being said would the 250sx be to much for a beginner
out of the 4 stroke and 2 stroke 250cc which do you prefer out of those two?
The 250SX sound great!
Nice video Jeff. Does anyone triple the big step up?
The 250f looked fun. You are flying! Southwick natty this year?
Looked like the 250 2 stroke an the 450 pulled the best all around control able ride nice rippin
You could definitely see the difference between the 125 and the rest of the bikes going up that sandier hill
what did you think of the frame characteristics? heard it might be too stiff for the average guy. Feeling like in a year or two after these are released they will have the kinks worked out.
Didn't hear you woohoo on any of the 4 strokes, that tells me all I need to know 🤣🤟
Damn. I’ve just gone from a 09 crf 150r to a 2022 250r. Got any tips for learning to ride/throw around new bike. (I’m 14)
I’ll be the one to say it, you can really tell how much faster you are on those 4 strokes. I believe the power is more manageable and smooth. I feel it helps put more time into consistency and flow instead of fighting harder to keep it in that top end range because of how much harder you have to work to maintain the same consistency on the 2 strokes. I love 2 strokes but there’s a reason why a 4 strokes are built the way they are. Sick videos keep it up.
Hah if you look European EMX250 results you see 250 4-strokes cant keep up whit 250 2-strokes.
@@newera77 exactly… 250 2 strokes should not be compared to a 250 4 stroke. 125 2 strokes are compared to 250 4 strokes and 250 2 strokes compare to 450 4 strokes.
@@brokenboyfilms48 I don't see why. The power a 250 4 stroke can generate is going to be far higher than any 125 2t. Same for a 250 2t vs a 450 4t.
At the lower displacements like 125 and 250 a 2t will beat an equal displacement 4t. Once you get to 350/450 the broader power band and better traction of the 4t starts to out pace the weight and hp of the 2t. A 450 will beat a 500 2t so it really isn't just about displacement on these bikes that determines the best lap times.
@@newera77 4t took at least the top 2 slots. Not sure why you think they can't keep up with 2 stokes...
I reckon I could keep up with you for 2-3 corners
...I was hoping for some commentary at the end - a wrap up / comparison - from your experience... nice editing!...
You were definitely faster on the 4 strokes vs the 2 strokes (i compared). Out of all the bikes, surprisingly, you looked the best on the 350! Also surprising that you looked about the same speed on the 250f and 450f. Maybe the 350 is the sweet spot for Jdub?
Cairoli used to run 350s in the gps maybe something to it?
Traded off my 2021 fc450 for my buddies 22 ktm 350 this weekend at the track and damn those 350s are the perfect sweet spot! I was able to carry more speed, charge harder and push myself harder for longer. It takes just enough edge off the 450 power you’re not beat up and when you get tired you can still ride at a fast pace without getting sketchy like you can a 450
What do you think about the 350 sir walker?
@@coreyploof217 I been looking at getting one of these 350s. Your comment seals the deal. Keeping my 250 2stroke but.
Is it just me or does the 125 look faster. Also those transitions were perfect
It looked the most fun for some reason.
Man you looked like you were flying on that 300sx.
What was the new 125 like compared to last years one
When he whooohoo’d on the 250!!!
Long live the 2 strokes
Your looking dirty on the bike the 250f footage was insane!!
couple close calls on the 250 4t
I was looking at my specs on a 1990 KX125 and it says 38-40hp depending on what you read. Now I was about to head up to KTM and get a 125SX but just read it’s 30-32hp. Something is not right. They would t go backwards in time would they? I’m 230lbs and want a lower powered bike but surely expected to have more HP than my 1990 KX125. I don’t get this at all. Someone educate me please.
can you tell us what your top 5 favorite bikes that you have ridden? thanks!
That 250 2 stroke is where it's at fast sounds good and we can all ride the you know what outta one but still like my 450 rmz I'm old and for all I do these days it decent in all and the torque of a 450 is a old man's best friend
that 250 is a rocket ship
How did you like the new 450 compared to your current 450?
What do you think a better purchases for Yamaha 125 or the KTM 125? 2023?
U looked the smoothest and most incontrol on the 350
Watching this video makes me want a dirtbike even more😭
i miss going to the ktm demo days
I need to decide between a 23 350xcf or 300xc as a first bike for open trails, woods, desert.
Track time on street bikes….
2t or 4t…that is the question.
Light and agro with the 300, or stable at higher speeds with the 350 4t. Your thoughts.
Not racing.
youhou in 250sx that says all for me !
How does the 125sx compare to your 05 cr 125?
Does kicking it sideways on jumps, get you less air time?
Or is it just a showboat move?
Watching video, no tweaks on jumps looks better.
Watching in person, tweaks would look cool.
MORE 2T !!!
What are your initial thoughts on the new chassis vs. the old one? Have you thought about running in the two stroke world championship at Glen Helen?
I’ll upload a video soon going over the differences between the current chassis and the new one. I like it a lot though! Feels more “Japanese” than the current KTM
@@JeffWalker84 looking forward to that one!
The 250 4T is so much better than the 125, it crazy how they compete in the same class. Jeff your a beast
This made it obvious to me how powerful the 450 is. Never even had to rev it.
you look nuts on that 250f lol
what camera are you using?
350f and 250f the Best bike
You were visibly smoother on the 350sxf out of all of them.
250sx, 300sx and the 450 had major pulling power! even more so when a skilled rider is letting them eat..
