66 here. My first time at Unadilla was '75 for the TransAMA. Decoster won it. Wolsink, Tony D, Marty Smith, Weinert on a Yamaha, etc. Now I just ride my mountain bike, but never stopped following motocross, and I'll take an outdoor national over SX any day of the week. Made my first visits to High Point and Budds Creek last year. This year I'm planning on Southwick and Unadilla, which I haven't been to for a few years. Really like seeing what's involved in trying to qualify for one of these. Your video gives someone who has never ridden an idea of the physical stamina it takes to ride just one lap, let alone a 30 min. moto. Unadilla is such a cool track.

Exactly a lot of people over the yeas in the comments have said “Jeff try working on this ” or “train at a facility” me even at times but he’s proven he can improve all on his own with hard work and dedication I know there will definitely come a time we’re he’ll be mixing it up within in the top 10

The steep hill is called the hill climb and yeah the Camara doesn't do justice. You have too basically slide down the whole hill to get too the bottom or take the walking trail through the woods and you are going for one heck of a roll if you try too go down it standing up.

Surprised you mentioned arm pump 2-3 laps in. I was thinking that pro's didn't have to deal with that stuff that early into the moto.
I rode with the 997 for 3 years and than switched to the 999 and I'm not switching back! The 999 let me feel much more connected to the bike and steer much better. Did you try it in the past?

Hey man! I run the Polar Vantage V2 watch paired with the Polar H10 chest strap. Works incredibly well! The V2 is their top of the line watch and is quite expensive, but the Vantage M2 has all the same functions

You should do a vídeo comparison on renthal 997 with and without the crossbar, I know lots of people who dont run the crossbar that feel more flex and renthal says its ok on doing it. You should try it
they actually make a fatbar version of the 997. It's called the 604

Jeff, what’s the battery life like on those cameras? About had enough of GoPro and their 20 minute battery lifespans lol
I have the insta360 RS (more go pro style one) and last charge I believe I got about an and hour and a fifteen minutes filming in 360 mode. I think that is what most of the insta 360 cameras average.
@@RacingWithRachel oh wow that’s awesome!! I think my GoPro, even with brand new batteries, I can only get about a half hour realistically to 40 minutes out of it.. which it’s driving me nuts. That isn’t even recording the entire time

Insta 360 x3 craps on gopro. Just the phone editing software alone is super convenient. You should raise up the camera mount position and crop in your videos a tiny bit less arm view and side distortion. Sick videos buddy!
