0:40 was always one of my fave parts "Master Robin, you lost your arms in battle! How terrible! But you grew some nice boobs." classic!!! love that movie =) Mel Brooks is king!
I can remember watching this with my dad when it was showing on TV and when the "We'll Fox It!" bit came around and that fox took off in fast forward making dolphin noises we absolutely lost it.
I love the fact that Robin has an ear in he's chest belt..... I like to imagine it got lodged there when thrown and Mel Brooks said. "CUT, yep we're keeping that you Fresnickets." :P
omg, my favourite parts... 'I have a MOLE?!?!?!' and... 'I'm sure there's a ladder around here somewhere, oh, here we are...' *knocks ladder of with butt* 'Oh SHIT!' *Falls & dusts himself off* 'I CAN SEEE!!!!!' *runs into tree* 'Nope, nevermind...'

The sheriff of Rottingham is...Robin Colcord!? In all these years it's only now that I recognize him. I found a whole new reason to love this movie. (RIP Roger Rees)
The part at 1:01 reminds me of a scene in The Aristocats. Is it just me, or does anyone ekse think of the part where Thomas O'Malley says all of the goodbye things when the cats are on the "Magic Carpet"? ;) (the Aristocats is my favorite movie)
that's because back in the days minorities had hope their status in the society would change. 2020 soon and people are still racist, islamophobic/antisemitic, homophobic and more. they're not the ones to blame.
@Valkyrie Ah Yes. It truly is a shame that generation is gone. Back when we could spit on black people and beat our wives and no one would raise a fuss. Truly the good old days. Hopefully some of them got to see this movie and had a right old laugh before 'they' came and ruined it all.
The boy mockingbird with the most stolen songs gets the girl. Because if he can sing the song of a hawk, it means he's met the hawk & lived to talk about it.
oops I JUST REMOVED a very nice comment by mistake. I meant to reply but pressed the wrong button heh sorry but thank you for the comment and fave whoever you are!!! =D
Really? My little sister, who is now 31, has had a crush on him since first watching this movie when she was... what, 7 I think? ;) We watched it so many times when we were young, we used to know all the lines by heart and bounce them off each other during long car rides. We've just watched it again after almost 25 years, and I think we're hooked again. It's just brilliant. Every scene has its place, and every character brings something to the story... So if you get the chance, tell your uncle he's marked the childhoods and has had a special place in the hearts of two sisters in Quebec ever since. :)
@@gregormcscrungus9727 Thank you most kindly. :) My sister also just bought the first season set of The New Adventures of Robin Hood a couple days ago. I expect to be hearing about it when she watches it... ;)
What? I didn't do anything but cut out some funny parts from a funny movie and post it on youtube! People who have watched the movie might think it's fun to see some scenes from it sometimes, at least I think so. I COULD post the whole movie but you know... it's illegal. So you can view this as a trailer or something. Don't be so uptight!
I dunno. It's a movie. I cut out some scenes frome it. It's not like I made an attempt to blow people away with my magnificent editing-powers or something;)
"Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent." 😂😂😂
One of my personal favourites 😂
I met Cary Elwes at the 2022 Motor City Comic Con on May 15th. He’s a very down to earth.
Well anreal robing hood would have sounded notjing like modern british english, languages evolve and enlish 800 years ago sounded nothing like modern
the best quote that has the arrow🏹 on target 🎯 and it never seizes to amaze anyone out there etc.
I just love how in every scene Cary looks like he’s having a great time
I used to watch this movie when i was a kid and it was THE funniest thing ever.
Welcome to my world. 20 years ago i could almost say this movie word for word. And spaceballs too.
me to i remember almost dying of laughter watching this movie as a kid
Watch Blazing Saddles then tell me which is funnier. Too close to call personally
@@sarahconnor4668 Me too. I can't even count how often I watched this film and Spaceballs. Sometimes one after the other.
Same, thank you. I have love 💕 this movie since I first seen it, as a child and I will continue to love 💕 it forever ♾
very god but u missed one of the best parts
"let me see the script"
PrinceLonestar1000 he does , he does get another shot

classic!!! love that movie =) Mel Brooks is king!
Mel Brooks one of my favorite life stinks 😆
Still better than all the other robin hood films . I know it's a comedy but even after 27 years it's still funny .
The hernia he gets while holding that note is honestly a forgotten gem
two of my favorite moments
No ding ding without a wedding ring XD
A chastity belt? that's gonna chaff my willy
I love how corny this movie is
Me too. Its dowright stupidly HILARIOUS too! 🤣
I agree
It certainly is cheesy… but that’s one of many reasons why we love the movie!
God i love this movie! Mel Brooks is a geniuses!
Richard Canipe So smart he's multiple people
geniuses? are you by any chance related to Gollum lol
I can remember watching this with my dad when it was showing on TV and when the "We'll Fox It!" bit came around and that fox took off in fast forward making dolphin noises we absolutely lost it.
God I love this movie, my parents used to own the VHS and we would watch and quote it so often. All the good comedy movies are pre-PC..
Marian : “Promise you won’t go.”
Robin : “I promise *you* won’t go.” lolol! 😆
The continuation of that line is what Robin you just said And then Robin says chill
“Why are you laughing?!, that’s terrible news”
Lmaoo
Bruh the whole movie was a hit
"We'll bless em till we're all fershnickered" is still a go to saluting line when taking a shot
I met Cary Elwes at the 2022 Motor City Comic Con on May 15th. He’s very down to earth.
2:20 Lend me your ears!! 😂😂😂
Abi Spanner
2:22 *everyone does so literally* Robin of Loxley: That's disgusting!
I love the fact that Robin has an ear in he's chest belt.....
I like to imagine it got lodged there when thrown and Mel Brooks said. "CUT, yep we're keeping that you Fresnickets." :P
This movie has become a comedy classic. Makes me feel old.lol
Why is that a link-
omg, my favourite parts...
'I have a MOLE?!?!?!'
and...
'I'm sure there's a ladder around here somewhere, oh, here we are...'
*knocks ladder of with butt*
'Oh SHIT!'
*Falls & dusts himself off*
'I CAN SEEE!!!!!'
*runs into tree*
'Nope, nevermind...'
What I got a kick out of was when the tree wobbled after he walked into it
“We’re men! We’re men in tights. Always on guard, defending the People’s rights! LA LA🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA 🦵🏼LA LA LA LA LA 🦵🏼 LA LA LA LA!”😂😂💀
they all look like bloopers, but what's so awesome is that they're not. X3

Still more historically accurate than the new 2018 Lionsgate abomination...
Lmao
Both movies were good
@@captainawesome2802 no. The Lionsgate film is rubbish. They also issued copyright strikes against everyone who dared to critique it.

It's a good change
A good change.
I am gonna show this to my future kids
While youre at it, show them Blazing Saddles too
The kickline cracks me up every time. :P
This never gets old!
How is this still not a stage musical like half of the other Mel Brooks movies :)?
My dad used to make us kids watch this and we never understood all the crude parts now that I’m older I fucking love this movie 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha same here! But I learnt the crude parts from this movie hahah .I was like 8 when I first watched this
I had the opposite experience. This movie is an absolute shitstain for me now
6:13 "sounds like steam ecscaping..."

This movie is absolutely bonkers, I love it
STRIKSLY HAS LOXED AGAIN! lol

Robin hood looked soo hot in here
Cary Elwes is indeed a juicy little treat in this movie
I have a friend who always reminds me of a young Cary Elwes.

Holodeck 1 Picard's retreated from life in the ship

Let's be honest tho, you can't get the full potential of this movie if you haven't watched the original. (robin hood prince of theives)
I like when they sing, makes ne laughing. 🤣
the whole thing is funny as well as blazing saddles
"a black sheriff?" "He's black?!"
Why not? It worked in Blazing Saddles
@@martyschriver my point exactly and it was a hoot its a shame we will never get such comedy gold as those now since the world has gone to shit
To think Cary was Russ Wheeler in Days Of Thunder a few years earlier.
Best comedy ever
I would like to point out one thing i think everyone missed. Robin hood is the first skinny jeans guy.
I'm surprised that the sheriff's "King illegal forest to pig wild kill in it a is!" didn't make your cut. ;)
But this was a lot of fun. :)
4:50 I died here
Dolphin sfx caught me so off-guard
