This title is not an exaggeration. I had the honor of serving at this church, and the entire church is run with excellence and passion for the Lord. Adam is a great part of the team.
WAW
I felt myself going “woah” every time something new was showed
I know how to do set ups like that always enjoy seeing someone else going above and beyond 🙌
This calmed all of my ocd...
then I looked at my stuff...
I'm going to need to watch this daily haha!
Haha the piano during the "tape ball" scene 13:57 was so moving. I thought he was gonna say "If you could bow your head and close your eyes for a moment." I felt heaven fall.
He is so organized. I love it!
We were just talking today about our summer projects and this is one of them! Thanks for the ideas man.
Welcome back Ashton. Nice to see again on the channel.
AWESOME VIDEO THANKS CHURCHFRONT FOR THESE VIDEOS GOD BLESS YOU
God bless you brother it.s important
Great video! You are right larger cymbals are so much better as they do take longer to get loud and have a lower pitch.
Adam is my hero!
Beautiful brother ❤️🙌🏽
Very neat and tidy set up!
Hello I'm from Brazil, great content.
Really well done video!!
This sure is long way from the Radio Shack 3-Channel mixer I used back in the 70's/80's at ACC. Very impressive!
HI Mike, Remember me? I served there and lead worship in the mid 90's.
@@1rocknjerry I do remember you! Where are you located? Time gets away for sure. ACC was always a very special church home for our family.
Mike Baker Hi Mike! I am on staff as Worship Arts Director at Wonder Lake Bible Church. We have lived in Wonder Lake for 15 years. This video shows quite an evolution of technology since the mid 90s. I’d love to adopt some of this Into my church.
Behold! The Lord is risen! Who would have thought it true?
Those great, far fetched predictions! Is that what God can do?
That ball made me respect that guy's brains a whole lot more!
Very inspiring!
Looks awesome 👍
You are the best smart cookie 😬🤣 also, the robot voice saying ministry was literally the best lol.
Awesome as always!! Would be perfect if you could normalize the dynamics between voices and musics❤️
Awesome!
Is it weird that I wanna be part of that team PURELY because of how organized it is?
That's intense. It looks like the bridge of a starship. 😂, I think that I'll stick to making sounds on my guitar.
Excellent
maaaaaaaan that's incredible!! here im Brazil is other reality =(
Wow!!!
I like this video
Really interested in learning more how he built the LED's to go with DMX! so cool
Chris Kloetstra email me at
XOChurch@gmail.com
And I can walk you thru how we do it, while being as cost effective as possible!
Yes! Would love some more info like what hardware is controlling it...
"Rich Church" gear is Awesome... no question. Budget-friendly alternative gear..??
Cleannnn!
More about organization please!!!!
How about more info on if he bought that tech booth or built it himself? Would love to know! We need a mobile option ourselves!
@churchfront I run a fitness studio and wanted to stream live sessions into either FB Live or Zoom so that those that want to do. it from home can. I have an old peavy amp and a mixer without usb. In addition, I wanted to project the image of the people from home into the studio TV's so that my coach can see who is participating and correct form. I want the exact audio that the in person people are hearing to go to the online participants. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Increased team member cohesiveness😂😂🙌🏾
I see that those are Dell touch monitors that you are using for mixing. Do you use Mac or PC? Is it multi computers? Curious!!!
I freakin love this
The gear loves you too :)
What program do you use to control the live sound?
Whats the PA....you never show the PA.
Right? Its part of the tech and most important part of the booth I feel..
looks like its just a simple QSC pa setup
looks like Nexo PS15s. 10:37 when he shows the screen.
what sound console do they occupy live?
If I needed to unplug all the gear after service, it would be a mess! You've GOT to be organized or every service will have a different issue.
You didn't show the sound system
Hey, can you give me a link for your portable sound booth or did you build it. Also can you send me some pictures of it.
didn't show the broadcast stuff..
Song background?
@3:19 It is Rode NTG2 and not NGE2.
Worship "MINISTRY" ?
I see the "X32 Edit" software on the touchscreen at 2:19. What is that used for? EDIT: Im gonna take guess that they send the audio to an X32 Rack via soundgrid and they use the X32 to mix all of their monitors. Im guessing that was the app that we saw at 4:18?
Haha, yeah, I was immediately like "NOW HANG ON. That’s NOT Waves."
Yes, probably. The app at 4:18 is MX-Q which is used to control the X32. But I wonder what's the point of using the X32... The LV1 can do 16 monitor mixes and it also has it's app called MyMon for the exact same purpose. So why they don't just use that...
@@youtubak777 V11 of LV1 was not out when this video was recorded
Do Revolution Church Canton, Georgia
Man they have hardly any tactile control in the booth. Guess I'm not used to that with analog gear lol
This is low-key organization OCD, I bet his apartment is *REALLY* organized. Adam is an inspiration.
A tech tour is incomplete without mentioning what PA is used and why.
The screens clearly show the X32 edit app at a cpuple of points. Where does the X32 fit into the setup?
Stephen Evans it could also be the m32 app.
@@mattclark1003 It could be, but at 2:18 you can see it is connected to a X32, which itself is connected to the soundgrid. Anyone know how this fits into the rig?
What kind of speakers do they use at FOH?
NEXO
12:55 They don't stream their services live?
Listen to it again, that is for band review purposes and baptisms ( so they can edit them I guess); not saying about live services.
i literally had to google them, look on their website and did find they do stream to youtube. i was just curious how they had separate lower thirds for in-house as well as for their online live-stream with Pro6. Was hoping the video would go over the broadcast setup more in depth as well...
Nashville numbers on monitor and still have music stands smh
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Where / how did he do the custom foam for the drawers? Please don’t tell me pluck style, that stuff is horrible.
David Williams it’s Kaizen foam. I actually just heated up a small blade with a lighter to cut it
That's what we use :

Sometimes you need to ask yourself, "Could I see the Apostle Paul doing this?"
Ben George I totally understand where you are coming from, but what we have to keep in mind is context and culture. Brady Shearer at Pro Church Tools does a great job of explaining how our mission is the same but our approach is different.
Paul would. have never done this - because they didn't have these tech capabilities back then.
I definitely couldn't see the Apostle Paul distributing food for the widows or being a youth minister. He would reject both of those roles because they would conflict with his clear calling.
There’s a lot of money invested in this setup.
A whooooooooooole lot of money.
How do you get a church paying for all this stuff?
I mean it’s great but what is the church for?
Our local entertainment centre doesn’t have this much sophisticated gear.
Worship MINISTRY school - it sounds strange, when a female computer voice....
Interesting video, more details on actual PA would be good. Tip for presenting, don't intro someone and say everything they're going to say before they then say exactly the same way. Thanks
Was thinking exactly the same. Some of the tech is cool, but would have been nice to see more of the PA equipment (rack and amps etc.) and hear more from the guy at the church (without repetition)
Say multi-purpose room one more time
He needs to work on his patchbay - it's a mess
Maybe You should replace high tech with First Love ……..
Honestly love the Worship Tech Tour series, but this one just didn't feel right.
Usually the host (in this case Ashton) would only fill in any gaps of things that weren't explained and leave the majority of the explanation to whoever is being interviewed (in this case Adam), but for some reason 90% of this episode is just Ashton talking and in some cases saying "Word For Word" what Adam says, making it look like Adam is reading off a script while being held at gunpoint. It almost feels like Adam really didn't want to be on camera or had no idea what to say, so he just asked Ashton to say everything.
Just seems like this is the "Ashton Turner Show" instead of "Worship Tech Tour". The reason I say this is because every minute or so its just a Facecam shot of Ashton speaking, which honestly pulls the focus away from the tech tour. It would make more sense to only have a Facecam shot at the start and end of the video with short voiceovers throughout the video to explain anything that was missed.
Deer Creek Church & Lighthouse Church are my all time favourite Tech tour videos (on CZcams, not just this channel), and I think its because the person being interviewed does almost all of the explanation and it comes across as really genuine. Also the fact that the entire video just shows the church and has no Facecam (yes this is my main issue).
Too digital for me... but thats just me lol
Yes, Ashton, you do have a pretty good announcer voice--but take a breath between your chopped-in sentences!! ;)
Seriously, editing sermons for many years, it makes it easier for comprehension to give about 1/4 to 1/2 second between sentences. The brain will recognize individual sentences instead of a single 16 minute run-on sentence.
Also seriously, I like this video. :)
The helix is doodoo
doo doo
doo doo (but actually it isn't)
I think he meant to say "dope dope" (as in, it’s so dope you have to say it twice to get the point across).
With this correction: second that.
Rick Biessman no. It’s poop. Lol
Churchfront with Jake Gosselin 💀
This is very good overall, but please remember the point of these tech tours, to show other people what these churches are doing, and how they're set up. I found the shots that are purposefully out of focus to be nauseating, I understand it's for an artistic feel, but the first rule of art is to present something that is listenable/watchable the whole way through. Like with mixing church live, the most important part by far is the lead vocal, if the audience can't intelligibly hear that, they might as well go home. Not trying to send hate, just trying to help y'all get better, as every artist should.
