I never know why Ezio's theme always makes me emotional. Looking back at the tragedy that befell upon him, having to carry his dead family to the boats, his lover dying in his arms, still the man carried on. Altair has a legacy but for me Ezio is the greatest assassin that ever lived. Man was stoic and hard as rock. Love you, Ezio Auditore da Firenze .

I think Altair was even more Tragic his mother died during Childbirth and his father was killed when he was young he was betrayed by his mentor and father figure Al Mualim his former friend hated him for something he had no part in which led to Abbas Executing Altair’s youngest son and even telling him it was his ordered by Altair he lost his Wife after trying to confront Abbas and was forced to flee Masyaf for Decades until he returned as a old man where he took back control of the Creed and killed Abbas ultimately Dying alone in a Library waiting to be found hundreds of years later
Ezio wasn’t very stoic, not until his elderly years. In his youth he’s very rambunctious and i think that this song really just encapsulates that feeling of growth.

He basically loses half his family in one night, was sent away in exile, loses his gf, loses his uncle and family, builds the brotherhood on his own, travels around the world for the brotherhood and fights with them. Compared to that Altair does what?

God I love Basim as a character so much. His inner struggle with Loki and his determination to do the right thing being a false sense of hope when in reality, he has no power. One of the best characters in the series

This is one of the best renditions of the Ezio family theme. Definitely the saddest one.
Hearing this as you come back to the ruins of Alamut was actually surprising and powerful. I don’t really recall the games using the Ezio’s Family themes during actual segments of gameplay, they mostly just seemed like something you’d additionally hear in the menus.
It was part of soundtrack in Le Roi est Mort memory in Unity
Most notably Ezio's Family plays during the scene where Bayek and Aya swear the Creed, and where they meet in Alexandria with the other initial members of the Brotherhood.
Nah fr though first time I actually gave a shit about what was going on in an AC game since origins…the song fit the scene perfectly of alamut burning at the same time basims faith in the brotherhood and creed itself was shaken

I’m so glad we got a game featuring him as the main character. He’s so interesting as supporting character (not knowing he’s Loki yet during my Valhalla’s playthrough). I wonder how they’ll steer modern-era Loki/Basim in the future.

When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. Many decades would pass before I understood the meaning of all three. And now, the twilight of my life, this understanding has passed into contentment.
This version of it is easily my favorite. The Arabic singer saying "Where is my home? Who am i?" Was so fucking ttagic and beautiful to hear. I have never cried to Ezio's family before, until this version. It was so beautiful and if this game has shown anything it is that AC NEEDS to return to its Middle Eastern roots.
As a middle easterner I was excited to see the game shed a light on my culture ac1 never got the chance to hit my culture so well however… this format of game they need to with many world cultures

At this point, Ezio's family is the Assassin's Creed Theme. Very adaptable, akin to the 007 theme. Works everywhere if played in the same key. Proud to be a fan of this series.
AC Mirage might not live to the greatness of Ezio's trilogy, but this sure gives it respect points.
I love this theme and all of it's variations, I do. But I would love to hear the Revelations theme reprise one of these days.
MISSED OPPORTUNITY. They should've kept/added vocalist's part from end of the Into the Light track, it would made it 100 times better.

We have been without Ezio for 12 years now. Yet his theme lives on as the main theme of the franchise. A piece of that older era of Assassins Creed has lived on this far as "the music".
I recently found that the girl I liked has a bf. It broke my heart into like thousands of pieces. I never even got a chance to express my feelings to her. But that's ok. She is happy now. This version of Ezio's family reminds me that everything in this life is not real. We can't loose what we never had🙂 This music always gives me a hope to live another day. It reminds me that nothing lasts forever. It means the pain will end one day too😊. Long live the creed ❤

What good is the Assassin's Creed franchise without Ezio's Family theme? Honestly, it never gets old and I never grow tired of it. Today, that theme is now the "Assassin's Creed Theme" in my opinion; even though it wasn't used in all of the games (which I honestly wish it did) but most of them since Assassin's Creed II.
I was waiting for a mirage version impatiently. The part played in "into the light " music was extremely astonishing and I hoped for a longer version but now that they uploaded a different version for Ezio's family, I got literal goosebumps. Brendan did an outstanding work for the soundtrack 🤍

The changing to add lyrics was a great surprise. Most of the time its just the same operatic/choir kinda voice so its hard to even realize there are lyrics. So to make it much more prominent this time was a fantastic additon
