For your next trip, may I suggest a tour of Comoros, Mauritius, & the Seychelles....or getting way, way, way off the beaten path in Oceania. Like Pitcairn Island, or Tuvalu/Tokelau/Niue levels of off the beaten path. Might keep you somewhat protected from the Covid 19 virus too.

Cool video! These are some of the places I'll probably never visit, so it's interesting to see them from the solo traveler point of view. About the evisas - I have a similar experience from Qatar and Iran. But it was explained to me that once they load your passport in the computer, they can see the visas associated with it, so that's why they don't require presenting a copy of the evisa.

Hope you enjoyed your trip. Last time I was in Manama was for an oil industry conference and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton - nice hotel but v. pricey - especially for drinks. BTW when you renew your passport you can pay an extra £10 and get one of 50 pages. Mine is due for renewal in July and I'm on page 47 so it will be worth it if you continue travelling.
