I love Iskender kebab, it's one of my favorite Turkish dishes and one of the reasons I hope to visit Bursa one day. I have eaten it at the Kadikoy (Istanbul) location of that same family restaurant. As a tourist, this price is OK. But I sympathize with locals who would certainly feel it to be on the expensive side.

Worked and enjoyed visting quite a few historic places. Must say the Iraqis are a gentle lot and very advanced. Was heartbroken to see it destroyed as it was there that many of us Indians worked and were treated with warmth and kindness. The Baghdad Hotel and Petra and the Casinos were my favourite haunts _ food and services the best!!!!

Just came back from Türkiye last week . Indeed the prices of food at restaurants are expensive. But raw products are cheaper at local markets . So that’s how the locals survive . They buy from local markets and home cooked . Most things are like above 100 lira . Nothing else below 100 lira except fridge magnets 😂 Expect to pay 1000 lira for a meal for 3 people in a restaurant. So it’s easy to calculate in each country . 1000 lira for a meal for 3 people in a restaurant My money 1000 lira equals to 42 Singapore dollars I can get cheaper food in restaurants in Singapore with 42$ That’s how I think the cost of living in Turkiye is high
