Why Is Christian Dior So Expensive?

There are a few fashion brands around the world that fall under the category of haute couture. Dior is one of them, Why? Each Dior piece is handcrafted, and it takes many hours to complete. Haute couture, after all, literally means "high culture." Their products are made using the best materials and are mostly made in Italy, earning it the "Made in Italy" designation. Customers have a tendency to believe that any handbag made of Italian leather is superior to others.
