Junk Journal Signatures: Securing with Buttons Tutorial

This video tutorial shares the method for securing your signature into your journal using buttons and wax linen thread. It was a challenge to work close enough so you could see the steps and still keep everything well centered. By working slowly and more methodically than I did in this tutorial, you can line up your buttons beautifully and make the holes lay symmetrically. I also show some mistakes and how to fix them!

Very cool Andrea, thanks for sharing that. I think I'd rather glue buttons on the spine, at least until I've at least made a whole journal, or two or three 😂😂😊 but I think the technique is so cool.
