That's really not an easy song to play. Much less easy because I'm not that good at this yet. This is not a clean rocksmith score by any means. The score actually went up from 88% to 91% and before that it was 87%. In spite of not being Rocksmith clean it still turned out sounding decent.
The fun part about music is it can sound decent even if it doesn't match perfectly to what Rocksmith says it should. I made my fair share of mistakes in this one but that's the first I've ever broken 90% on one of the most difficult songs I've attempted to play on Bass so there's that. Musicians better than me might be able to readily notice but personally I think it's worth keeping. That's a really fun song to play.
P.S. I'm always torn on whether to post a song that is for example, only 90% accurate... The thing is that we all know music isn't a set thing. Guitarists can fit many different variations into the same spaces and have it sound great even if it doesn't match Rocksmiths chart.
I'm not saying this "sounds great" because I really don't know. I'm not that good at this to make that judgement. I am saying to me it sounds pretty damn good based on my lack of time and skill on Bass. As of last night, I finished my practice / therapy session with 1330 Hours & 21 Minutes on my total practice time in my lifetime.
I started learning on Rocksmith and all of my experience is from there. Fortunately for me it counts exactly how long I've spent trying to play songs and that's the time I listed... Only about 10, probably reaching 11% of that has been on Bass so far.
The point is I do want people to realize that we all start somewhere. I want people to realize that most, even those with much more skill than I have, often cannot not just jump into a new song and play it perfectly. It takes work, practice, familiarity, all of these things to get there.
I've played this a few times and each time I move up and up. I've only had this song for less than a week now so I'll improve it. It's so much fun I've tried it at least once and most days leading up to now, 2 or 3 times per day... I usually don't try more than 3 times in a single day... History has shown me that most of the time my 1st Attempt will be the best one... Sometimes I'll get it on the 2nd if not the first but that's more rare... If I don't get it on the 1st or 2nd attempt I rarely get it on the 3rd but I'm stubborn and OCD so I often try just to get it out of my system... I'll get there.
