I don't know if you'll see this, but I had the coolest idea for a collaboration (easy enough to do on video like they did during CoVid). El Estepario Siberiano (who has a massive following and is one of the best drummers alive.....plus funny), you, pick a guitarist (my dream would be Govan), and Brazillian metal singer Dan Vasc. All 4 of you are incredible, social media savvy, and so funny with your presentations. One cover song across 4 platforms with at least 5 million subscribers. It would be EPIC!!!

This video made me realize that in string instruments, the electric bass is not just "tuned percussion" but an instrument all to itself. The cello compares to the violin in the same way! Wonderful!
The cello, violin and double bass are all part of the same family. The electric bass is basically a fretted DB with pick ups............
This is why bass is a very fundamental but also underrated instrument!
Playing bass is a tradeoff, provide the foundation and the groove, or go off doing the showey stuff. You'll notice that someone else was playing the groove the whole time.
The MOST underrated instrument in music! So incredibly underutilized in favor of the same old guitar we've heard a million times before. I wish there was more bass in music these days. Whenever I hear a song with a prominent bassline, I'm always impressed and it's pretty much always fantastic.
Bass is absolutely not underrated.
I’m blown away by how much more depth is in this version of your playing. Your earlier version was amazing, but this is off the charts, it is fun to watch amazing musicians work magic.
