Me too! I was really hoping the new RAW 500 would have been DD. Maybe in the future! The 420 is a fantastic Heli and well worth it!

What does a full buildout of one of these 420's cost? I just bought a crashed trex 470LT that I'll be repairing after I get my 550x running, but always wanted to save for a SAB.
So a full build 420 is around $1100. They are pricey compared to the 470 but well worth it! SAB is top notch!

The RAW 420 is definitely one every one should have! Witch helis are you selling?
How are the Torq servos. Can you compare xpert vs mks vs kst vs bk and all the top notch?
Torq servos are great. Just like KST, MKS, BK, Xpert. All the Servos are great day and really it comes down to a personal preference and how much you want to spend. I have all servos in different helis.
Q : do these electric birds require a throttle endpoint setup (blade bnf models)? theres nothin in the manual. another heli youtuber performed a procedure for the fusion360. thx
Throttle end point? Like a throttle calibration? To teach 0 to 100?
@@westhobbiesrc8051 yeah, throttle calibration. Min to Max, like you do in every rc plane.
Hi Jeff, what are the tail gains you use? Proportional and Integral? My tail is wagging....
I’m running stock P and I gains in the iKon and 36-34-30 in the radio. Are you running a governor? If so turn the governor gain down to around 25%
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Thx Jeff, I've the same setup like you build one. HW 80A, msh brain 2, spektrum NX10. I suppose servo travel on channel 5, 100% and not 132%. The stock governor gain is 50% and goes down to 25%. I'll try that!

You won’t break a SAB unless it’s built wrong lol they are incredibly strong.
got one on the way and can’t wait to build it. the only thing i’m a bit worried about is connecting the srxl2 to the ikon but your videos should help all the way. do you need external satellites or can you just use the srxl2?
If you ar worried about crimping a servo end on the SRXL2 wire, Spektrum makes a wire for the 6260 and it works perfectly with the iKon and SRXL2.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 thank you! i got a servo crimper kit coming too figured it’s good to have the right tools for the job. will i need to run additional satellites or does the srxl2 work well on its own?
@@nunyabusiness8538 sorry, I forgot to answer that! You just need one SRXL2, no Satellite is needed. Being able to crimp your own servo ends is a massive money and time saver. Being able to make your own leads and plugs is well worth it! I have a video on that if you have not seen it.
