The uno skip cards themselves didn't actually get destroyed. Just the beam gatling under them.
At least that's how it was in the anime. (They didn't make parody of when unicorn and banshee blocked a satellite laser, which happened after the fight. The three shields were on that scene)

He was always into gundams. Its just a running joke that the teacher who tries to get into the same hobby as the "students" always end up being too late and misunderstood while he wants to show off his adult money gundams

I have to admit this would've saved me alot of money if I had just thought of using Uno cards (the red ones in particular) and individual gattling guns to make regular PG Unicorn with final battle theme about it. I feel stupid. Well done.
