Harlem Globetrotters vs. The Generals at Venice Beach Skate Park -

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters made history, playing for the first time ever in the bowl of a skate park - Venice Beach Skate Park - in a special exhibition game against the arch-rival Washington Generals on a most unusual and challenging surface, before a crowd of 300 underserved kids. Adding to the fun, the Globetrotters were joined by professional skateboarders. The game is the latest in a growing list of unique settings in which the Globetrotters have performed in their storied history. The worldwide icons have played games on the decks of active aircraft carriers, at the Vatican in Rome, in bullrings in Spain, at the bottom of an empty swimming pool, on an arena rooftop in Philadelphia, even on an outdoor skating rink in New York City, just to name a few.
