The level of competition is honestly insane. These guys are beyond impressive on a skills analysis, but also mentally as competitors. Really really impressive

I always watch the Olympics but this skateboarding is now my favorite sport to watch .its amazing

This gaggle of boys are absolutely spectacular. Doing their grindy things and spinnies and what not. It's absolutely wonderful and I am having so much fun. I just hope this isn't a phase.

Pace and bottger both worthy winners, incredible runs
There's a clear gap for me in difficulty between #1 and #2 runs. However Gavin Bottger will be remembered by everyone in the room, and I think some of the other guys who started going pro around the same age really acknowledge him. They already did score him a bit higher I believe, because he's so young.
Why aren't these guys in the Olympics? I'm confident they would score so much in both Street and Park categories :P
I guess after skateboarding go mainstream or regular in Olympics, guys like them will be in.
The guys in Park were mediocre. I dont get it either
Since the Olympics has a strict anti-drug policy, a lot of skaters wouldn't have made it unfortunately :(
Totally different formats. The actual park is nowhere near the same size so its much more difficult to achieve competent tricks in the Olympics
@@WillMcCartneyAI I disagree. They were just mediocre and some plain bad. The skaters in x-games have more range
We need more hype/trick-knowledge from the announcement team. An incredible show from the athletes👏there was some raw talent.

X games I’ve been watching for almost 20 years and I’m a huge moto x and skateboard fan. Anyway you guys could upload the old competitions from the early to mid 2000s like best trick, big air, freestyle, vert competition?

Concussions are top 3 most common injuries in figure skating, I don't see them enforcing helmets on that, yet if they wanted to wear one it would be refused, but skateboarders can if they want, and do often enough.
