Tricks to hack hashed passwords

- As we know, hash function/algorithm is used to generate digest/checksum of data. Hash function is not reversible. However, it can be hacked, and it is easy.
In this video, I will use some websites to crack hashed passwords manually. You can see how easy to hack hashed passwords if hackers use powerful computer or clusters of computers to hack our passwords. They would crack millions every second.
Do not assume your passwords are safe as long as they are hashed into non-reversible digests.

im just trying to understand how do you get the hashes from the computer. You're showing us a password you used to get hashes, but what about if i forgot my password on windows 10, how do i get the hashes from it? is there a video of you showing us how to get the hashes from our windows 10?
So in order for a hacker to crack your digest they need to hack into the database where it is stored and also know your username?

probably all these machines are protected by the router or firewall. All your pings are going to one machine, which might be the router. that is why you get one same IP address.

I don't understand how would you know the password i want to know the password
1, First you need to get access to the data base.
2, Query the username you want -> see the hash code of that user.
3, Put it into some reverse hash code website -> you get the plain-text password.
But this is hard nowadays.

What do you mean? You can get one by using online hash-generators. There are plenty of these.
Obtaining hashed password database that are actually used by companies requires illegal methods, obviously. This video covers what you can do to get the values from the hashes; it doesn't cover how you get your hands on such tables to begin with because that usually requires hacking into system or going to shady sites to purchase them.

Your password is in the form of digest (hash) in fb database. Once someone stole the database, you can hack and get your plaintext password by using a look-up table created by a computer.
