I lived in New Edwards from 68-70. We were so lucky! AYA, bags of candy at Halloween, trading comic books...I still miss it.

I was stationed at Edwards from 1971-72...
Your quick video took me back for a moment...
I was twenty and met a sixteen year old DP named Linda...
A very young and nice friendship we had !!!
I recall sitting on a small hill of sort near the housing holding hands !!!
I share your loss of recollections... time fades...
I understand that Edwards Kaserne is gone now ...
    Thanks for sharing that video...

      @@AMERASIAN12,
We lived in Edwards from 1963 to '66. Years later, my dad gave me all of my elementary school report cards, military health record, etc. The health record had my family's address. It was 2122-C1 Am Schieferstein. In English, that street name translates to "At The Slate Stone." Our apartment building was next to the farmer's apple orchard and the back of it faced the huge baseball/football field. Years later, a small school was built behind our apartment building. My dad filmed us at the apartment with his color movie camera. Although it has no sound, I hope to post it on CZcams at some point.
And great to know that your building was filmed in the lady's video.😎

Do you know the address or location to get to that housing complex? I lived there from 91-93 and would love to go back and visit.

Try this address: Am Neuenberg 9, 60435 Frankfurt am Main
it's pretty much in the middle of the housing area
