As far as insulation on any of these. What temperatures can these withstand? Up here in Canada we get -40°C or worse. I still tend to do a bit of hiking at that cold, kind of want the experience.
These boots even if they are rated that cold are rated while moving. I wouldn't wear any of these in -40°F. I wouldn't even wear my LaSportiva G2 SMs in those temps without an overboot. If you are looking to be out in those temps look at a quality boot such as a warmer Baffin model or even a quality Mukluk. I've done these types of temps quite a few times for extended periods. Vbls and other items come into play as well Don't skimp in these situations. If you get it wrong things can go bad quick.
