- Here is some Bonus Flexxx from my personal IGTV with IG:@camerongarton’s Skar VXF series 12” runnin off a Hifonics Brutus 1700.1 and it’s eating some lows for breakfast!! If you follow my personal CZcams Channel you will know this woofer from when we swapped Cam’s DDX 12” for this one. And all this time later, it still murders. This enclosure was Designed by ZL Audio and tossed together here at the house for the DDX 12”, so excuse the single baffle. But this sub is much to beautiful not to watch it FLEXXX

No bro it's ok, I appreciate it. I seen most of your videos to. I'm new to this CZcams stuff. If you notice I don't even have videos. Never made any. But I'm about to have my long awaited build completed by June-ish lol. So much music I been building. 06 Yukon short body style. 4 X15'sV2, 1 SD EVO-X 12k, 3 other EVO-X mids & highs amps, 10 prv 8's, 6 prv super tweeters, D3400, & a 80ah Lithium bank, 400 mechman Alt, 2/0 & 1/0 runs etc etc. So much I still haven't named. An that's just for my Yukon. My big rig I'm looking at 4 10's SA's or 4 X8's. But I like those VXF's and EVL's. Yup I'm a True old school Bssshead. Check out Tony on CZcams or Facebook (MildNWild). They sound great when I do a sweep i believe it starts getting inaudible around 20 to 25 hz but when you get around 32 it starts working really well
I’m going to build a enclosure today and see if we can get a vxf skar to sound like a sundown. Im going to put a SAZ 3500 on it or a 5k full bridge this is going to be nasty.!Skar is great brand for the price just enough to get u addicted to Bass…I’ve moved on the the Zv6 sundowns. Some lucky person to hit me up on a budget this tax time will get this Skar and box for a deal !!!! I will demo it make a video and post it. Thanks for the Demo… I run my wires threw the back also. If u get a chance put a sheet of wood on the flooring under the box. The more wood the better !!! Skar needs to make a neo now to compete w big names… NEO is on the NIghtdhade so imagine if Skar made one for day 500$ it would take over

I have a question, I’m getting a VXF 15” and wondering which amp. Either the Skar RP 3500.1D ($459) or the Skar RP 2000.1D ($249). Would the 2000 give the sub all the power it needs or should I get the 3500?

Paul Caprio EVL’s are 1k right? Honestly, I have a VXF, and I would still say the 2 12’s, you got more cone area. 15 if you’re trying to hit lows, but with just 1 it’s not gonna get too loud at sub 35 hz. Mines tuned at 32 hz but plays them 40’s like crazyyy, (12)

Paul Caprio that’s exactly what I got right now and everyone seems puzzled that it’s just 1 12. I have the RP 2k on it, but I have serious voltage drop and a terrible box and it’s banging like crazy. Clip lights are a godsend, I can’t hear clipping on it so good idea to be able to see. I truly believe when I get my electrical set this thing will still take all 2k watts, wired at 1 ohm. They’re beasts. I guess the VDX? Or something like that, is comparable to the VXF, but has less sound quality but gets louder. Something to consider. Personally I love my VXF 12, and can’t wait to get a 2nd one. I think you’ll be happy with it, the price is right and they get downnn. If you power it right, 2 of em will probably wreck something on your car, definitely better than 2 evls so you’ll be doing big things
I have the single evl 12 in the loaded enclosure from skar on an rp1500.1 I will say I've heard other people complain about the evl not reaching the xmax like its supposed to and the tinsel leads are hitting the cone. I've notice the same thing on mine you can hear the tinsel leads hitting which is annoying because i feel like the sub can take more. But if you don't plan on tunning them really hard you might not have this problem but I'm leaning towards getting a vxf 12 or 15 now instead of another evl, hopes this helps.
Thanks to both of y’all for helping me out I’m not trying to break anything or go crazy just some nice bass nothing weak nothing too much (I have a 2014 civic coupe) lol feel like one of these vxfs will be good enough..I was leaning towards the evls but really don’t want any of them problems to happen

The box was made for a DDX 12”. Nothing special but some flexxx for the bro’s to look at. Baffle flexxx or sub flexxx. Lol

My vxf12 2ohm hits so hard I couldn't believe it. I have always used kicker solo barics and they worked good I thought until I installed a vxf I have never heard 1 12 hit like that

Prefab bullshit is much different then a enclosure designed for the subwoofer itself. Don’t get that twisted. If you ordered some $50 crap, that’s what you get. Design and build one or have a REAL builder build one for you.
