Clean work as usual, man. Reminds me of like 15 years ago when I decided to try to make a self defense tool for less than 75 cents. Ended up with a small flail made from a golf ball, some 1 inch wide webbing off something I broke, and a piece of wood from a glider rocker. Seems silly but when testing it I caught a rebound dead in the elbow. Not very lethal but EXTREMELY painful.

That depends on how large it is and how you mount it. The BIG ones would be good for a lot of blunt force. Still very non lethal. Probably good for extracting information.
I gave up on my self defense built as a kid when I made the (Infamous) Nunchucks... damn things caught me in me in my Ball area bloody hard. Thought for a minute I was bleeding from there lol....
During the unrest in the US in 2020, I had a kitchen table I didn't assemble because the leg weighed abot 10lb and had 1/4 x 20 bolts sticking out. Too long and heavy for anything but a first blow by a former rock climber. Would probably have damaged my wrist or flown from my hand if I had used it. But pity the fool who invokes castle doctrine.
That is an impressive build. You never stop amazing us with your craftsmanship. You and Deadpool are always entertaining to watch.

Lol... I think the most impressive part of this whole video is how you were able to set those balls on the table and they didn't roll off I don't think I have a single table in my shop I can do that with! :)

@@ryewhiskeyfan5946 not actually sure, it was in the scrap bin at my local wood shop cause it had a split in it but I knew id be able to work round that and remove it.

Make the balls light, they go faster, but have less 'punch'.
Make the balls heavier, they don't move so well.

Dang it... It's been decades since I've seen the movie. I'm not even sure if that short clip was the same movie, but does fit that one scene in The Warriors when a rival gang member had fingers in the necks of three bottles and was clanking them together as he repreatedly said "~Warriors... Come out to play~" in a arrogant sing-song way.
