I really enjoy making these Trench clubs and found some different styles while researching this one, would you like to see more?
Please check description for information and links.
Thank you.
Yes I definitely want to see more
Absolutely want to see more
Think everyone likes these builds so ill have to get it done soon
Yup keep em coming!
In medieval times and present times these weapons always bring fear to the one in the receiving end , love the video can't wait to see what's next be safe everyone
Oh yeh definitely, i love the history of this stuff and reading about it when i am doing my research
@6:00 I couldn't help but to hear "Yakkety Sax" in my head as I watched this part of the video... :D
Brilliant build, as always
Hahahahaha thanks for watching
Turning, forging and all kinds of goodshit. Good job Onur, I think I could watch you post trench club videos for the rest of the year:D
Trying to make the videos have everything so im glad you enjoyed it mate
I absolutely love how historically accurate this one is, since trench clubs were made with different materials from the trenches hence none are alike this is probably my favorite one you made
In all my historical builds i work off actual items in museums and get them as accurate as possible
I enjoy your weapon making tutorials🇮🇷🙏🥰
Thank you very much
Love the new pop up things. Very Techy. Sick looking Trench club.
Ahh wicked cheers mate, feel it’s a bit better and more professional.
One of your best builds in my opinion. That green handle looks amazing to that wooden club!! Also like that the spikes aren't 100% symmetrical. Makes it look even better. Top notch trench club!!
Thanks so much mate, yeh I worked off museum pictures for this design
The awesomeness of this channel is beyond compare.
Thanks so much, new video up Saturday
Another beauty Onur!!
The lil red guy was so excited to clean.... tell him good job man!! He keeps this up he might be able to make something 😉
Thanks mate, haha i did chuckle to myself when editing that bit
What a beast of a weapon. That should definitely make burglars wary, great job mate.
Oh yeh definitely, thank you
That thing is wicked cool, Dude! Good video, Thanks Onur!
I really appreciate it, thanks for always taking time to watch and comment
The boys that fought in the trenches back in WW1 would have been proud to wield such a formidable weapon
Excellent work
I like to think so mate, thank you
Art at it’s finest! Love this one much.
I really do appreciate that, thank you
Another awesome creation by the man who creates awesome things!!
Thanks again!
Dude, you're an artist.
Thanks so much, im really trying to make it artistic to get rid of this weapon stigma
I think the one of the things I like most is how safe you are with everything. I also like that although you wear gloves it's the latexy rubber ones that protect your hands from scrapes and blisters but will break away and not destroy your hands if caught by spinning parts. wish I had thought of that back when I worked with power tools.
Thanks mate, i do this everyday so definitely need to keep myself safe to keep the videos coming
I worked with a guy many years ago who was wearing the big cuff leather gloves while operating a drill press. This dumbass decided to rake the shaving strands from the drill bit using his thumb. Needless to say, the shavings hooked right into that leather and pulled his hand into the drill bit. It ended up PULLING his fucking thumb off at the base joint! The shavings nor the drill cut his thumb off, it PULLED his thumb off! I grabbed him and told him to get in the truck that I'd run him to the ER just a few blocks down the street. He got in, and just as I started to back up, my dad threw me his glove. I asked my dad what in the hell did I need his dam glove for? He replied, "Because his thumb is still in it!" I said, "Yeah, I guess we'll be needing that then won't we?" Lol. The local hospital couldn't do anything with him, so they transferred him by ambulance about an hour south to Birmingham Hospital. The doctors there spent about 6 or 7 hours trying to get blood flow after they reattached it but had no luck. He ended up losing it. The bad thing was, is that we had always kept a piece of steel flat bar to rake the shavings off. The piece was pretty long so you could avoid having your fingers sliced open by the shavings. It was still lying on the drill press table. For whatever reason he decided not to use it that day and ended up with a permanent reminder of what happens when you are a dumbass. My dad told my brothers and I at an early age that if you are going to be dumb, then you better be tough and rich, because being dumb hurts, and it's expensive! Some of the best advice I've ever received! Lol
@@chadh3441 haha oh man that's a terrible one. I was always terrified of degloving, kickback and all those other terrible things. Luckily I had a combination of good safety from my dad but also I got to go to different first aid and safety training classes so I never really had any close misses but the thought of losing not only a finger but my skin suit.
@@GameTimeWhy I remember when I was in shop class in high school, I was operating a table saw. I wasn't a big fan of them due to kickbacks, even though it did have a kickback guard. As with anything mechanical, even guards fail once in a while. I was feeding a 2x4x8 on the table saw, when it suddenly kicked back and the guard didn't catch it. It hit the concrete block wall hard enough to knock a baseball size chunk out of it! Yeah, my safety awareness increased a lot after that! Lol. I always try to be as safe as I can because I like my fingers just where they are. I've gotten quite attached to them. Lol
Just as a quick tip that might help, when forging a taper it goes faster if you forge it down as a square taper, only working two sides until you get close to your final dimension, then knock the corners down into an octagon, then go around smithing out the high spots. Great video and awesome final product!
Round stock so wasn’t too bad doing how i did it, it was more for the look than anything i wanted that bumpy forge finish
Wicked work. Love the attention to detail.
Thanks mate, i like to try get them looking as close to the original as i can
Perfect for late night strolls through Manchester
You know the score
another work of art with spikes 😁👍
Appreciated dude, thank you
Very cool!
Excited to see the other trench club you are thinking of making.
Wicked cheers mate, will get the video up pretty soon as it was a cool one
Absolutely beautiful BRUTAL piece of ChaosWeapon 😈😈
Thank you very much
Well dude can you carry that in publics. Such a great demonstration of your many skills . Club looks great , well done ..
For private use.
Thanks so much
My friend, I really enjoy your videos and love seeing the weapons you build. That club looks positively lethal there! Great job.
I really do appreciate it mate, thanks very much
@@DiesInEveryFilm Any time. Keep up the great builds!
Very cool! Can’t wait to see the trench club you are planning for the future!
Thanks dude, ill get that up asap
Great vid great build.
Thank you so much mate
I don't know if there's anything cooler than watching a lathe do it's thing! Mesmerizing
It’s fun seeing it changing from big awkward block to smooth wood cylinder
Awesome build, can imagine a soldier back in the day would freak out with someone running at them with a weapon like that. The misses... "Bloody hell, how much have you spent on water melons and grapefruit again this month?!"
Crazy the stories online about these weapons.
Haha i have to hide it from her
Great Job Mr Onur That Pricing Spiked Trench Club is a perfect weapon to bash and cracked a zombie's head and it's a deadly weapon in the post apocalyptic fantasy world too you know
Thanks very much for watching mate
Wow great work very hardworking man
Thank you very much
Another good build. That thing looked legit as hell. I would bet there are some historical examples that look very similar.
Thanks mate, yes this is a replica of one in a museum
NIIIICE
Nice job buddy! Surprised you didn't leave a knob on the grippy part, but sure looks fun to play with. Love your videos, always seem to make me chuckle when I need one. Carry on good man.
It’s a replica of on in a museum. Thank you
Great job, Onur!
Make a double headed post apocalyptic battle axe!
Thanks mate, i have a long list but have a nice axe idea coming soon
I want to be in your workshop when the apocalypse comes 😜
Always welcome mate
That’s immense mate!!!
Thank you dude
That club is awesome, thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing the next one you’re planning.
Thanks so much mate I really appreciate it
I love all your videos brother. All the editing and everything you make. Thank you so much for sharing your time to make these videos!
Ahh dude thats so cool to hear, thanks very much
Different work little seen around here, it was very good congratulations friend.
Thanks very much mate, lots more to come
Awesome work Onur! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Thank you very much mate
1) Change your name to Hephaestus, as you could arm the gods with what you build. 2) Thank you for the innuendo..... My dark and twisted humor giggles every time.
Oh yes new channel name i think.
Im glad you enjoy those parts mate
This is very nice. I like that the cord wrapping on the handle is both glued and tacked. I always feel that cord wraps won't stay in place. Although it wouldn't look as cool, I'd want a more smoothed transition from handle to head to lower the stress concentration there. Granted, no one in real life who has fought with these kinds of weapons has lived long enough for the stress concentration to matter.
I've always been curious had badly these might stick into a leather jerkin with a wool gambeson underneath. I've always felt that a weakness of the "Lucille" weapon of barbed wire wrapped around a baseball bat is that someone in a thick coat with a tough outer layer could block a strike enough to reduce the impact and then catch the barbed wire part in the thickness of a strong leather jacket by pinching the bat between torso and arm. The impact would still hurt, and the barbs would penetrate enough to cause cuts. However, the "Lucille" would then be stuck and difficult to withdraw. If the defender then had a good weapon on hand, he could strike the person armed with the "Lucille" without having to worry about a return strike. The "Lucille" is obviously not going to penetrate as well as these spikes would, and pinching these spikes against one's body would produce much worse injuries.
If I were using a bat, I think I'd rather have it without the barbed wire wrapping. I appreciate the harm that the barbed wire can do, but I'd rather not risk the bat becoming stuck on things.
For a spiked club, I wonder whether anyone has ever made the "spikes" as small blades instead of spikes. If the length of the blades ran parallel to the length of the club, then pulling the club free from an obstruction would create little draw cuts. In effect, the spiked club would become a war ax with a bunch of tiny heads. To make these, you could just forge each spike into a spatulate shape instead of a rounded spike. You'd then have to sharpen each of them individually. That would be more work, and I wouldn't try to make them ax sharp or knife sharp. I'd just want them sharp enough to slide through any protective clothing into which they might become stuck. This idea wouldn't be as good for marketing purposes because it wouldn't look as cool, but that's the design that I'd rather have if I had to go into battle.
This was copied from a museum piece, the transition still has a curve for stress reduction.
Yeh I agree on the luceel i feel the barbed wire is a hang up more than anything.
Look at the macuahuitl those usually had blade type edges like a sword axe
Cool video, I always enjoy watching the good work. Keep the good job mate, cheers.
I really do appreciate that man
The way you caress the wood reminds me of my uncle
Ahh the good old days
Yet again another amazing build. Great job! 🤘🏻
Thank you mate
I would avice bad guys not to break into your house.... :D Amazing Job as Always, Fumbs UP!
Im waiting on the day this happens.
Thanks mate
Quality build, wood working and forging, what's not to like? And your little interludes are becoming quite polished as well now, keep on doing what you do, mind an occasional knife build thrown in as well would.be cool
Thank you mate, i have been doing knives as well pretty much one a month for the past 6months
Love it mate... looks awesome i like the fact you took the time to forge every spike, nice touch 👍
Thanks Brad, i feel they look a lot better than just grinding them to a point and it’s more fun using the forge as you know
Более свирепый вариант древне-Русской палицы, отличная головоломка, круто👍
Thank you so much mate
That looks great 👍
Thanks for watching mate
Totally bad ass as usual brother!!!
Thank you so much mate
Always fun to watch how that engineering mind of yours works. 🤜🤛
Thanks so much mate
Nice! My first improvised weapon was an extremely large 2 handed sword. It was made of 12 guage galvanized steel sheet metal, haha. Not functional but makes a nice prop. It is about a meter and 2/3 long. I'm not good with metric but that seems about right, haha.
Thanks dude, sounds cool mate bet it was fun to make
@@DiesInEveryFilm Yeah, it was fun to make. I used a computer operated press punch and one of the big powered table shears. I was a machine operator so I had access to lots of big machines, haha.
Another awesome one!!! Keep it up man :)
Thanks dude, definitely
The brads must've took forever. So nice though 😍
Honestly my soul left when doing that bit. Thank you
Wow, the amount of work you put in is amazing, perfect video X
Thanks very much, im really enjoying making this stuff and im glad the effort is noticed
I love the trench clubs, and yes please may we have some more sir :)
You definitely got it mate
Thats a lovely looking club Onur.
Johnny Hun would poop his pants if he saw that coming at him 🤣
Haha definitely, thank you mate
Metal....
And wood!
The best mix
I love the trench clubs. Definitely make more. Makes a guy wish some badies would break into your house so you can put these good weapons to use. Hey this thought just came to my head. Have you considered making melee weapons with a firing pin mechanism so you could have one shot in a club or axe? That would be cool.
Thank you, unfortunately that would be illegal here so not something i can make
That would certainly change the mind of the recipient of punishment.
Oh yes, the history in these is crazy
Cool weapon perfect for zombies
Definitely, thank you
Another great job, keep making your great videos. TP
Thank you buddy
Always a 👍🏿 up from me your talent is appreciated
Very much appreciated mate thank you
Good job Drillpool, you have my like as always.
Personally I always wanted to make a weapon (with a material similar to a 20NiCrMo2-2 Round Bar) which is similar to this but instead of spike holes there will be fire holes like a torch. I just want to illuminate some faces, nothing special.
Thanks dude, haha as in flames coming out?
@@DiesInEveryFilm yes, bursting flames like a molotov on a stick.
This is so badass man🙈😁
Cheers dude
That's very cool once again an amazing video . Maybe dad would like one for father's day 🤔 then again more than likely a bad idea. C u next week.
Cheers mate, haha everyone needs one
You're an inspiration to raving lunatics everywhere, or maybe it's just me...lol.
Awesome content. 👍
Haha thanks very much
Cool video.
What about a pacific islander paddle club with spikes?
I bet that'd be formidable.
You may be in luck mate i have something made with video waiting to edit and out soon.
@@DiesInEveryFilm sweetness
Maybe this is weird, but lathe work fascinates me. It's like you're digging the shape of something out of a blank piece of wood. OK that's exactly what you're doing. And the rest of the build is cool too, but the lathe is hypnotic. 👍
Im glad to hear that mate especially as i have more of it to come, it’s cool the shapes can be made using it
Great video mate way cool bro
Thanks dude
Sweet af
Thank you
Muito bom e eficiente.
Parabéns
Thank you dude
never stop, there's a trench club for every occasion
Definitely mate
Nice!
Thank you
Until now I've been reading your name Diesel in every film making me think you were a Vin Diesel Fan. But now I see its dies ha
Haha a lot do that, i had a guy thinking it said Disney
Love it
Thank you mate
Very impressive finish, well done!! Some good wood turning there and hats off for the rope type handle.
Not sure whether you knocked out "Wilson" the cabbage with that first plunge, I mean he didn't flinch at all.
Good luck from Spain!!
Thanks mate, im new to turning so glad it’s enjoyable to watch.
Oh he would definitely not be getting up from that but it doesn’t hurt to make sure.
That’s a nasty looking weapon I sure wouldn’t want to get hit with it.
I feel you, thanks
Honestly Officer, it's for working in the garden. Some of the snails can be pretty fiesty
Not to be used in a police station
War never changes.
That one was out of a mid evil times. Awesome! It is always a pleasure watching you and Deadpool. I laugh all the way through your show. If I may ask, why do you bounce the hammer on the anvil?
Man I really appreciate that so much.
I use it to keep my rhythm and take a second to check my next strike
Cool shit bro
Thank you mate
Remake this exactly the same way BUT put a chain between the handle and the spiked end
This is a historical weapon i made
Show é muito divertido assitir os seus vídeos
So glad to hear mate thank you
Good
Good
Good
Very much appreciated mate, thank you
Buen Video saludo
👍👊🖐
Thank you buddy
I think this Deadpool has come from WW1 era just joking 😃😃😸 btw I love your videos and creativity keep it up sir and thank you for entertaining us 😂😂😂😅👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
I really appreciate you watching
Another brilliant video. So many different techniques, I love your workshop. I’ve always wondered what finish wire wool would leave on turned wood. The lighting is so much better than on some of your earlier videos it’s much easier to watch. Where do you get your ideas from fella 😂 lease keep up the great work 👍🏽
Cheers mate, aye i use wire wool on allsorts.
Managed to adjust everything so it’s clear in these videos now
Thats a beast! new fave toy?
Thanks dude, it’s on my website now
Dang, this was a savage-looking club! Love the colour of the wood, too. I don't know if you mentioned what kind that was? Either way, awesome style. It's something I'd expect to see one of those gnarly Japanese _Oni_ dudes wielding.
Cheers dude, can’t remember what wood it was now tbh but I tried to find closest looking wood to the pictures I referenced off.
Thank you for watching
Made with way more TLC then any of the original ones would have been.
Oh yeh definitely, perks of making stuff in a workshop while not under fire
Cool trench club and brilliant vid again. Have you ever thought about making some of the bayonets and daggers that were banned by the Genova convention?
Thanks mate, unfortunately I can’t make them in my country, law states they would need to be destroyed after and currently i need to sell what i make or I can’t run the channel
@@DiesInEveryFilm fair enough mate didn’t know that keep up the amazing work 👍🏻
That's Totally Fkging Awesome !! Love it and cool idea !! Should try it out on a skull 💀. 🤣👍👍. Nicely done!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🪓🔪👍👍
Thanks mate, I really wish i could get some ballistic skulls, maybe one day when the channel is big enough
@3:00 nice
Thank you
Nice.
Thanks
@@DiesInEveryFilm You're welcome.
Saluti dall'italia 🇮🇹🤌🤌🤌 haha nice video
