Team Associated RC10T3 Revival! - Retro Racing!

In today's video I take a new (to me) RC10T3 out for it's first drive in 20 years. After some slight safety upgrades it makes it debut on the track. This truck performed better than the other 5 cars I brought with me. Can't wait to see how it performs with a new motor and esc!

I just restored my t3 and ran it at my local 1/8 scale track- it was a hoot. I'm running a brushless 7.5t system and it handled it just fine. New tires are all that truck needs. If you want to stay brushed, check out the holmes hobbies retro 540 motors. They are super reasonable and have a few to choose from. The tekin esc should be just fine. I ran that same model back in the 90's.

I've been testing the T3 at the track now that's it's brushless which makes 2WD even more challenging to drive. I'm switching the front tires to a knobby compound to try and get more grip. Also going to gear it down! It's an absolute blast and handles great!

Hopefully you get yours going soon love the content after I move I've got my T3 I'm planning on getting running again can't wait. T3s are amazing trucks and amazing pieces of history.
