- Grammy award winning a cappella group The Swingle Singers perform an impromptu flash mob at Souk Madinat Jumeirah on February 12th 2013 ahead of their debut performance in Dubai on the February 16th at the Madinat Theatre.
The Swingles Singers came to Dubai as part of The Score classical series, kindly sponsored by Emirates, Dubai Duty Free, ARN and The Fridge.

Is there any outdoor loudspeaker? The sound is more like a dub from the clean microphone feeds than what a flash mob usually sounds like.

I wonder what kind of microphone (model) they used? All man carried a bag, is there a speaker inside the bag?

They had a small PA system that you can see during Superstition. The bags? No clue. The mics have transmitters inside their enclosures.
My absolute favorite group !! too bad people who where standing around were obvioulsy very stiff and not wanting to " let go" a bit on their everyday " posture"! ( except the 3 young ladies...
here`s the thing:the performance,voices and technique awsome! but..! i am a huge fan of the clip from the subway. i really waited for another video from you guys.there it is! i was so happy to find out about it! i saw it. thoughts: microfones? everybody dressed up?the location? for real? let me say: everytime i see the subway vid i am so happy and enchanted that i need to see it al least 1ß times in a row,but this vid, i got bored after 30 secs. just think about it for a minute pls pls pls!

except for the 3 or 4 young women in the audience moving to the rythm of the music the rest of the circulating audience in this shopping malll are walking dead. Nobody was moved by the art performed by these amazing singers! They need to come to South America, Argentina or Brazil and you will see what an audience that is alive with warm red blood running through their veins can do with these artists.
