    Smart idea using a roller on th driveway it really packs the stone in haven’t seen anyone use a compact roller except you good job doing it right the first time

    Have never seen a dump truck spread gravel backing up, seems like that would take some skill right there.

    how is the driveway holding up with that geotextile being that you ran it on an incline? Im getting ready to build, but people say dont use it if you driveway is sloped.

      dont, the gravel will eventually slide. use a bigger rock for base and top dress with class 5

    Need to put the ditch further into the bank. All you did there is move the road further out onto less stable ground where the builders side casted the material. Over time it will settle.

    i was so excited to see another person that spreads gravel/grades earth (andrew camarata is a genius) i find it extremely satisfying to watch but you cut all the good stuff out NOOOOOOOOO...PLZ UNDERSTAND WHY WE WATCH THESE VIDS HERE ON CZcams...dont cut the heart out please and thank you.

    You don't want to lay your swamp fabric down and just dump gravel on top like you did. That is just going to make a huge mess when your box blade catches the fabric when maintaining your road. You should have dug down 8-12" inches below the road bed, laid the fabric down, put the 8-12" of dirt back on top, and then spread your gravel. That is the problem with most do it your selfers. They have no idea how to do it.
